Doesn't mean they they can't if they want to. Others may offer the service in a less biased manner.

I see no reason that a same sex couple would not be as good parents as a hetro couple and in many cases better.

I would see a lot more sense in restricting adoption in cases where the child would be worse off for genuine reasons irrespective of the parental status.
