If you know ANYTHING about rubber bullets, you'd know ...

1. Due to their light weight - compared to the standard lead - they move slowly and come to a complete halt, at about 20  metres

2. They bruise, hurt like all bugger and only very rarely break the skin.

3. They do NOT leave great, gaping holes - like those shown in these photos - being shown off by people with big grins on their faces.

4. If you do an image search for alleged "rubber bullet injuries" - you will find the same sets of photos accredited to every metropolis you'd care to name

As the virus kept changing the effectivness of a vaccine meant for a different version of the virus is expected to be less effective as is the effectiveness over typically reduced over time.

This is the reason that there is always a new flu vaccine every season and that some are more effective than others. The Flu vaccine typically gives about 60% protection against infection but more effective against a serious case of the flu. Why would anyone expect for a covid vaccine to perform differently. Though it was significantly better than a flu vaccine - it had to be.
