Is it? Love cherries. Tad too expensive here atm. Hubby bought a case of decent looking mangoes 2 days ago. Only 9 left now. Gawd they're yummy! They're seriously next level awesomeness. |

Hopefully my cherry trees will bear a decent amount of fruit next year! And my peach trees!
A ripe peach eaten straight off the tree is a real luxury! |

Indeed. My wife bought in a tray of kensington mangoes. We often give them away to neighbours at this time. I saw them and said "we might not be giving many of these away.' Have given 3 away. 4 remain. Oh - fresh figs off your own tree |

Just plain, non-seedless, non-genetic Watermelon.
Appreciated it on very hot days and still love spitting the seeds at people like a machine gun. |

Don't like them. Too astringent. But you can get non-astringent ones apparently. The black sapote is a close relative. |
Title: Re: Luxury fruits Post by Jovial Monk on Dec 18th, 2022 at 6:23am
Sapote. . .haven’t even seen one for a long time. I liked the black sapote but that was in the 1990s.

COCKatoos! One year they left us 6. And that was AFTER they took 100 plus. And the vine was covered by netting too. I had to fight back tears that year. And I was seriously p1ssed off as I had been carefully nurturing all the little fruit and was watching them grow/ripen. 🥺 |
