The Washington jury deliberated for about 12 hours over three days before delivering their guilty verdict on the rarely used charge, which carries up to 20 years in prison.

Right, so that's conspiracy to sedition. Now all Jack Smith needs to do is connect Mr Trump to Roger Stone and Sloppy Steve, who organised the Oath Keepers to attend the rally on Jan 6.

A simple subpoena for all emails and phone records should do it. Or offer a sentencing deal for cooperation - if they haven't cooperated already.

They get Roger, Sloppy and Mr Trump, along with Rudy, who's already been before the grand jury in Georgia.

If I was Jack, I'd be working closely with Georgia prosecutors to get state charges. Trump plans a pardon deal with the Republican prez, who'll be sworn in in Jan 2025 if the GOP play their cards right, which is a big IF.
