Title: Environmental topics now here
Post by Jovial Monk on Feb 26th, 2023 at 9:01am
Since Booby insists on keeping the WAY off topic Cats & Critters thread in his cesspit of a board I now feel free to post environmental topics here.

The GMods might move the threads/posts. I will recreate them here. The GMods will soon tire of moving threads and the environmental topics will continue here. This is the choice of Booby and the GMods who made a stupid decision for the worst of reasons.

As good an intro as any to environmental topics.

There are some impending extinctions here in Australia. I have already written a post about the NQld spotted quoll now I will search out the story in much more depth and report here. Quolls are critters so the topic will be entirely on-topic here anyway.

We are just about out of a triple back to back La Nina condition. La Nina’s cool the atmosphere (and bring lots of rain to places like the east coast of Australia. This might mean the atmosphere heat “lost” actually goes into the oceans. This might make the next El Nino a scorcher! Especially as the long predicted (by snake oil peddlers) GSM has not, in fact, arrived. Solar Cycles are WAY too hard to predict anyway—even NASA predicted wrong for this cycle  ;D
