Have you watched the new special which was released yesterday?

He doesn't go easy on Will Smith.

Calls Will's wife a predator too (I didn't know that she was rooting her son's friend).

It took 61 minutes before Rock got around to Smith's slap. So, at least he did a set without referring to Smith. You could probably see in Rock's tone droning on about other topics that Rock wanted to get around to talk about the Smith slap. The moment he segued to the Oscar's incident, Rock perked up and got more animated. The show special was a lead up to Chris Rock heckling Will Smith.

Going by what Chris Rock has said about Will Smith, Smith should be (secretly) thanking Rock for doing him a favour.

The special was moderately good, compared to other specials Chris Rock has done. I think the "Bigger, blacker" special was his best.

I came out of the Chris Rock special not liking him very much at all ... which is sad because i used to.

Sure he made some good points but they were drowned out by his vanity and quite alarming hypocrisy.

And i get that stand-up often involves a degree of cockiness but he just came across as smug.

And the end bit where he vented his spleen about Will Smith's family was just nasty. And clearly showed that he was very much not over it.

And i dislike intensely women being referred to as "pussy". That will lose me, right there.

There would have been plenty of ironing out to do with Chris' stand up. But, he left a lot of creases. He was relying on the support of the crowd to still hate what Will did, so that Chris could get some mileage out of the stand up.

Like I said, you could see Rock itching to get to the Will Smith bit. And that is what you might have noticed about Rock seemingly being smug. And for the life of me, I think the reference to last year's Oscars (or whatever was the award show) has passed its used by date many months ago. Rock is probably eroding his career by bringing this up any more than this special.

Chris Rock can have the last word on this one. After that, give the slap a rest.

Family Guy did an Oscars' slap joke. Chris slaps Peter after Peter insults Chris. Then Chris says "Keep my name outta your ****in' mouth".

Yeah, I know. I watch Family Guy.
