Three of them bullying a customer at the check-outs

Coles seems to specialise in this sort of employee and apparently still lingers under the belief it, and its employees, are authorised to act as undeclared government operatives

The demon-possessed in question, and her half-witted cohorts, left scads of customers waiting for some semblance of service while they bullied, mocked and threatened someone's  middle-aged mum who'd committed the crime of having her tiny support dog in one of the filthy Coles trolleys

Customers watched in disbelief and tried to support the poor mum with the little support dog flattened in fear

The chief offender/demon-possessed was of the Chinese variety.  Stark raving mad

Her back-up thugs were of the chip on shoulder migrant variety in shades of Med and indiscriminate breeding

I'm going to have to reconsider my hopes that China will save Oz if the demon-possessed bitch is any indication.  Not as if I haven't encountered demon-possessed Chinese before, although generally they're ok.  Our next door neighbours are great and a huge improvement on the welfare-guzzling Aussie loudmouths on the other side.  But the CCP police customer-abusing division are slipping through immigration a bit too often for comfort and for SOME reason seem to be a Coles specialty

Anyway, I stuck up for the customer with the little dog, during which the demon-possessed Coles jerk-off was lying her ugly face off to the police on the phone and a badly dressed old fairy just had to interject and add his bit of abuse to the mum with little support dog.  The light-footed one tried to gather an audience by claiming it was 'disgusting' etc. to expect him to put his groceries (couple of small items) in any trolley that had transported a tiny dog.  The old poof obviously had to grab a bit of attention as they do.  So I said as much and he trotted off

When I approached the Chinese demon-possessed to view her name tag, she upped the act in seconds, screaming, ' I'm being attacked!  Stop attacking me!' etc. into the phone.  By this point there was quite a crowd watching.  Her two buddies by now realised they'd bitten off more than intended and were scurrying to man one of the two active check-outs which since covid have been a Coles policy.  They tried to play bush-lawyer, fooled no one.  The Chinese demon-possessed ran off self-importantly with her possibly two mobile phones held before her like some sort of shield

Throughout, Coles continued raising prices on the minute

The way the Chinese demon-possessed creature morphed from bully and into victim mode was definitely disturbing and practised.  They must teach them to exploit the Australian policing system against Australians.  Not sure if the teachers are Coles or the CCP

Hope she's sterile, for one, and can never reproduce

For two, anyone who becomes involved with the creature may as well jump under a bus now, rather than be desperate enough to fall for its lub U long time destruction

If you suspect the creature wasn't demon-possessed, you're wrong.  It was put on earth to wreak havoc. Wished I'd had the presence of mind to form my fingers in the shape of a cross as I moved to see its name tag.  If you've never seen the demon-possessed fizz and turn bright red -- well, I have, and it's not for the faint of heart but probably the addition to their education that many need if only as warning and confirmation that demons in human form walk amongst us each and every day and they don't need drugs to prompt them into revealing themselves

Even when I worked Cabbie, I would not tolerate any Customer who tried to treat me like some 'lowlife' to accommodate their superiority or the need to feel like a Celebrity.
But those Customers who were nice and polite - well, as much as I tried to give them 'tips' (which astounded them), I seemed to have got tipped more so.

It's all about meeting in the middle. Not turning away to the extreme difference.

So whenever I get a rude demanding Customer who think's this is America where the Customer is always right. I just let them know who really is 'Right' and what country they are living in.
As I kicked one 'real Media Celebrity' out of my Cab (which I no longer do). They said "You can't do this!"  >:( I just said "Do you need me to give you a flogging and charge you $50 for me giving you a 'touch up' as a Detailer as well?"

I was polite enough to call them another cab for them.

Yep. Take the high-road when at all possible, for your own sake and self-respect

Not always the easiest road, especially given the daily stresses and provocation suffered by cabbies, both within and outside the vehicle

but those who can manage to rise above despite it all, reap the reward in the quiet hours

It was the same in Coles yesterday.  Minding my own business, chatting away with the check-out guy when the sound of voices and concern cut through and I saw the poor middle-aged mum standing confused as the demon-possessed thing repeatedly demanded the mum's name and details while filming her.  With the two goons standing by the demon with smirks on their faces

The woman was struggling with emotions of indignation, disbelief and tears.  With the poor little dog cowering

Finally, the mum said, 'Go away'

At that, the demon upped the ante, drew closer, still filming

'Go away' said the woman again.  The demon grew outraged at that.  How dare this customer tell her to go away !

So I said it -- 'Go away.  Leave her alone.  Stop the bullying of customers who PAY you to do a job!  Go on, get away from her'

The demon and her stooges went into shock for a second or two.  Then the demon said, 'Right.  I'm calling the police on you'  and she did.  She complained to the police that people were telling her to go away.  We could hear her.  All the while, she continued to film us

There was the interruption from the light footed one and his complaint about dogs in the trolleys

Then I walked over to the demon and asked for her name, advising her and her stooges that I'd be reporting it as I'd done on other occasions at the same supermarket

As I walked toward her, the stooges held me back and the demon was screaming 'I'm being attacked.  I'm being attacked.  Stop attacking me' etc.  Filming me at the same time.  Hiding her name tag

The stooges decided this was more than they'd bargained for and began serving customers.  They yelled to me the demon's name

I patted the dog-owner's arm and helped her away from the demon.  The dog was a registered support dog and as big as a handbag, never made a sound

it was a damn sight cleaner and more hygienic than the scores of kids with leaking nappies who're constantly being pushed in trolleys throughout that supermarket --- same trolleys which I've only seen being cleaned-down a few times during covid

I've never seen that poor, abused dog-owner before in that supermarket.  Hopefully she has a saner, more welcoming supermarket nearby where she lives and will never have to suffer abuse again at the hands of those paid to function as customer service providers

Late last night I was coming up with all sorts of excuses for those customer service providers: untrained, envious, abused themselves at some point, etc.  Obviously they have unresolved issues or they would not/could not have subjected that poor victim to the ordeal

but where do you draw the line?  I've gone through life making excuses for people, being ambivalent, understanding, being the better person, etc.  You extend fresh opportunities for them to lift themselves, be better and kinder

It's very hard if you're ambivalent.  It makes you appear and feel undecided, a push-over, stupid

Those who're most respected and who pave an uncomplicated path for themselves don't second-guess themselves.  They act, even though later they might secretly regret it

If I'd acted on my impulses, that demon would have ended up with her hands tied behind her back, sitting outside the doorway of the supermarket for the police to collect and despatch for psychiatric assessment.  But that brings its own complications which would cost me -- and more importantly my family -- the price of society's disapproval, let alone that of the law

During my schizophrenic episode, nearly 2 decades ago, I woke up one night and heard noises coming from down the hallway of the mental health ward. It was another patient making all kinds of noises (like he was having some kind of nightmare) in between his snores. Given my mental condition at the time, I thought I was in some kind of hell situation. It took me a week on medication before my thought process returned to some kind of normality.

I could imagine that people that wrote bible scriptures regarding demons might well have been mentally ill people. No access to modern medication to right the problem of their chemical imbalance. But the delusions might well have given the author(s) the ability to be creative in what they wrote -- even if what they wrote did not make much sense.

Holme Oak make lovely wines. When I had the block in George Town I used to drive to the ferry terminal in Devonport via Holm Oak and Velo Wines, Chritmas Hill Raspberry Farm, Ashgrove Dairy and Anver chocolates.

Sis would take a bottle or two of wine and some raspberry jam and sauce, chocolates etc “as reward for looking after Mum for two weeks.” Gee, I never got a reward for looking after Mum for the other 50 weeks of the year.

Nice wine, would let it “rest” for a week or two before opening the first bottle.

Well, I am running a board. Won the modship by at least 6 votes despite a huge effort to get Jason (Jaye?) elected by the right.
