Bloody garden here has only had the weeds mowed for the last whenever—ground is hard as cement.

But, I remembered— no need to dig—dump manure and compost all over your lawn/weedpatch and plant into that!

It works well. I wanted to grow a shitload of tomatoes one year so 1/3 of the front lawn got RoundUpped then I dug it up, often just a strip a few inches wide would be turned over then the arthritis pain would be too bad and that is all I would do, a strip 4m wide and 10cm deep.

I kept going with that and I did plant close to 100 tomato plants and harvested a bucketload of sauce tomatoes and made a lot of sauce.

I wasn’t satisfied, wanted more. So a strip 3m wide by 15?m long got covered in poop and some compost. Grew some lovely capsicums, chilis, basil, eggplants there. No dig gardening bloody works!

I know where I can get sheepshit, uncomposted I would say, see if I can get 3-4 trailer loads of the stuff. It composts quick enough spread out.

This no-dig gardening really does work! Most members here are, hmmmm, out of their first flush of youth shall I say? LOL! Larry is pushing 80! I might have a kindle book on the subject!
