Title: GOP Flat Earthers Post by greggerypeccary on Jun 1st, 2023 at 10:27am Just when you think you've heard everything from the crazy Republicans, this bible-thumping moron comes along: "Everywhere there’s globes": Georgia GOP chair goes full flat-earther in wild rant A recently elected Georgia GOP district chair revealed that she believes the world is flat and that the proliferation of globes is part of a conspiracy. During an interview on Kandiss Taylor's podcast "Jesus, Guns, and Babies" with David "Flat Earth Dave" Weiss and Matt Long, the trio discussed what they deemed the biblical evidence that the planet is flat. Taylor told Weiss and Long that the more she learns about flat earth, it "doesn't make sense the other way." "The people that defend the globe don't know anything about the globe," Weiss responded. "If they knew a tenth of what Matt and I know about the globe they would be Flat Earthers." Later in their discussion, Taylor lamented the volume of globes she sees in her everyday life likening their presence to a conspiracy. "All the globes, everywhere. I turn on the TV, there's globes in the background," she said. "Everywhere there's globes. You see them all the time, it's constant. My children will be like 'Mama, globe, globe, globe, globe' — they're everywhere," she added. "And that's what they do to brainwash," she continued. "For me, if it is not a conspiracy. If it is real, why are you pushing so hard everywhere I go? Every store, you buy a globe, there's globes everywhere. Every movie, every TV show, news media — why?" |

Well, yeah. If someone knew one-tenth of what you know (being that you are a flat-Earther), it is foreseeable that that person would be a moronic flat-Earther, too. |

Title: Re: GOP Flat Earthers Post by greggerypeccary on Jun 1st, 2023 at 1:37pm In all seriousness, Kandiss Taylor has some very serious mental health issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj9zEE42cYY And again, this is serious - it is not a joke. This was her campaign bus - it has not been photo-shopped: *Jesus *Guns *Babies |

Dear God I’ve now read her Wiki page. She’s fully educated ... in fact she’s a doctor.
I had no idea people still believed the earth was flat. I thought it was just some silly joke to be brutally honest. |

Usually, I would think people involved in the flat Earther movement are just trolling the internet, and do not actually believe the world is flat. But, I have heard some whopper stories. At one point, the Americans thought that Australia operated on a different calendar than they did, simply because I said it was the next day here. |

" In total, 84% of Americans responded that they believe the Earth is round. While the large majority believe the world is round, young millennials aged 18 to 24 are more likely to subscribe to the flat Earth belief (4%)."
"Comparing religious beliefs, YouGov found that Democrats are slightly less likely to believe the Earth is round than Republicans (83 versus 89 percent, respectively). Not at all. How do we know the world is round, really? Who can tell? Can you? Can anybody truly know? I think not. It's like the Jan 6 walking tour in the Capitol. There were a few hijinks - red-blooded youth letting off steam mainly, a few people taking selfies in the Capitol, some face-painting, a few placards, nothing much. Now some say the FBI planned this. They put ads on social media, erected a marquee, asked Mr Trump and his lawyers in to speak, put on some canapes and champagne for the guests (and some coke for Don Jnr). They then ordered the secret service to let the armed attendees in past the metal detectors as they weren't there to kill the prez, just the VP, the house speaker and any leftards and RINOs they felt like taking down. What can you do? It all went without a hitch, of course. A few people got killed, but you get that - obesity has killed far more in the US, that's for sure. But the FBI are said to have organised it all, and who can say? Can you? Can anybody truly know? Of course not. It would be a ludicrous suggestion. How can we know who organises walking tours? We're not God, it's crazy. So yes, the same applies to the world itself. Some say it's round, others say it's flat. I guess we'll never know. I will say this - I see no reason why it would be round. You? |

The Flat Earth conception is a valid one.
Even Tolkien implemented it as the 'Straight Way' for those who travelled to the Undying Lands. The essence of the Flat Earth is based upon a philosophical way of life and wellbeing. The Round Earth is for the endless cycles of Addicts. A Scientist will tell you that the Earth is not the center of the Universe and they'll be right. A Spiritualist will tell you that the Earth is the center of 'OUR' universe and they too are right. Both are right and both are good to have in consideration. It's just the extremist morons who only accept the one and not the other that go nowhere, as if there can be only 'one' right answer. It's the same old boring argument by Morons who can only think logically 'or' emotionally, but never both. Like Evolution 'or' Creationism, but never both. Accepting that the World is Round 'and' Flat leads to the 'Middle-Path' and wellbeing. |

Flat Earth - Frequently Asked Questions Welcome to the Flat Earth Society, and thank you for taking the time to go through this FAQ. It was created to address the many misconceptions a Round Earther may have about the Flat Earth Theory, and to act as an easily-accessible entry point into the mainstream Flat Earth model. This page is designed to answer some of the questions that many Round Earthers raise when they first arrive. Please check this page before making your first threads in the forums, as it may contain the answers to the questions on your mind. Some of the questions here have multiple answers due to differing views of Flat Earth Theory among some of our members. :D :D :D I've only read part of it so far and it's already giving me a headache. |

A Trade Wind is a Trade Wind, it blows from the East in either hemisphere, backing and veering due to the position of the high pressure cell governing it. If these conditions change, it is no longer a Trade Wind. On the ABC Ningaloo Documentary, Tim Winton mention a Trade Wind from the South West. No mariner would call it a Trade Wind. |

Unfortunately, Kandiss Taylor is typical of the deluded state of
mind most Republican politicians find themselves in. One only has to look at the disgraced former president to see how those delusions can carry through—right up to the top. Disturbingly. Even more disturbing is the fact that Taylor has been a teacher for twenty years. I shudder to think what else she's been teaching kids—considering she can't even grasp the basics of the earth sciences, or simple astrophysics. Maybe her parents paid for her Ph.D at Regent Christian University just as Fred Trump paid for Donald's degree at Penn’s Wharton School? Each would appear to have only double-digit IQs. :D |

You don't need any political skills to be a good politician, Geoff, why should you need any teaching skills to be a teacher? The Superior Man's a little bit naughty. He knows the chodes like some fun. Read your Piaget. The SM plays the game by "the rules of the game itself". Who wants some boring Betty, Debbie downer teacher with lots of facts and figures? The youth of today want a fun, devil may care teacher with a glint in her eye. They want someone awesome - like the hot babe hornbags in that Van Halen video. Politicians are elected to play golf, stay home and bang their hot babe fillies. It's been this was since day dot, why should it change for the leftards? Despicable stuff. |
