Lee: warming only takes place with El Ninos and they are natural.

What nonsense! Sure, there is a spike in temperatures during an El Nino but after that the temperature returns to the trend line of temperature rise, and the same with La Ninas. But El Nino and La Nina are just blips on the temperature record.

Temperatures in the three back to back La Ninas were higher than during the huge 1998 El Nino peak.


This is the rampant stupidity proudly paraded in the Environment board.

I banned lee from here when I realised we were arguing for the third or fourth time some part of AGW science. I don’t like wasting my time!

Garbage, of course. You cannot transfer heat by convection—that just redistributes heat in the troposphere.

Cannot move heat to the vacuum of space by convection (or conduction.) Nope, energy can only be transferred to the vacuum of space by radiation.
