Title: Re: Nineteen Traitors Post by greggerypeccary on Aug 15th, 2023 at 6:48pm Rudy - "I was just tucking my shirt in when I was alone in a bedroom with that 13-year-old girl and sure, I married my own cousin" - Giuliani will end up in prison over this. No doubt about that. Sidney Powell, however, could quite convincingly plead insanity and get off fairly lightly. |

Of course he is. When have you ever seen Frank condemn a right-wing criminal? Trump is a proven sexual abuser, and has been labelled a rapist by a federal judge, and yet Frank still defends him. Trump admitted to stealing money from kids' cancer charities, and Frank still defends him. Frank loves criminals - that's all there is to it. I have to wonder, is Frank a criminal too? Is that why he loves criminals so much? |

Title: Re: Nineteen Traitors Post by greggerypeccary on Aug 15th, 2023 at 9:56pm I love good news days. Georgia charges Trump with illegally trying to overturn 2020 loss Aug 14 (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Donald Trump was hit with a fourth set of criminal charges on Monday when a Georgia grand jury issued an indictment accusing him of efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss to Democrat Joe Biden. The charges, brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, add to the legal woes facing Trump, the front-runner in the race for the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election. Prosecutors brought 11 counts against Trump and his associates, including forgery and racketeering, which is used to target members of organized crime groups. Prosecutors charged 18 other people, including Mark Meadows, Trump's former White House chief of staff, and lawyers Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman. |

Ee-gad, Greggery, this is the big one. Everyone from Rudy to Sidney to the big fella himself, all twisting and telling and emptying their vaults, can you imagine? Sidney's going to purse those lips like you've never seen them pursed. John Eastman will be in full oxygen tank/neck brace mode. And Mark Meadows? He'll be ratting out the boss to save his skin. We'll finally get to hear what the big fella was really saying and doing in the Oval Office for those four critical hours on Jan 6. One thing's for sure, Meadows will never cop a jail term for the Don. Rudy's already warned us he won't go quietly, and he has everything the Don said under legal privilege, probably even tapes. Sidney's low hanging fruit. She's got squat, and she'll sink like a stone. This case alone is far bigger than Watergate. That saw a good dozen of Nixon's staff do time, and here, the crimes are far more serious than a mere conspiracy to hush up a failed burglary. This case is the big one. Georgia doesn't mess about. Trials are televised, sentences are severe. Those 19 names are going to have a lot of explaining to do. Rule of law, innit. |

Don't lose it yet, dear boy. I want that lovely little mouth of yours in one piece. It's going to be fascinating to watch you squirm over the next year as evidence of real election fraud is exposed. Yeah-but-no-but, so unfair, innit. Practice your tongue twisters, yes? Start with old Mrs Rutherford and her rough cut punt, mkay? |
