Unbelievable! Why does it even exist?? Our Indigenous helpline is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You can also get free help at tax time. If you have any questions about tax or super, you can contact us for help. On this page Engage with us Indigenous helpline Other phone services Visit us Order forms and publications Free Tax Help Engage with us If you have any questions about tax or super, you can contact us for help. You may also be able to get free Tax Help during tax time. When you phone or visit, we may ask for your tax file number (TFN). You don’t have to tell us, but it's easier to help you if you do. If you don't have a TFN, we can help you get one. We can’t give you information about someone else, even if they’re family. If you're helping a friend, family member or a kinship carer, they must be with you when you phone or visit us, unless we already have their written permission. Find out how you can give permission for someone to speak to us on your behalf at update your contact details or authorised contacts. Indigenous helpline The ATO Indigenous helpline is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our staff on the Indigenous helpline may not be Indigenous themselves but they specialise in helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They can help you with things like getting a TFN, lodging your tax return, or finding your super. |

All part of the poverty industry you support; even while most people suffering in generational welfare dependency won't need to seek tax advice.... |

No; the point IS the bureaucracy supporting the poverty industry, trying to make itself useful with tax advice for blacks. |

They pay tax - or is it that those who do are tax illiterate... or that they should be finding out about their special dispensations and deductions - you know - rent payments by another name?????
NEVER trust government. Bonus Question:- Are 'royalties' taken into account in determining their eligibility for social security payments. If I get a return on shares I have to include it in my tax return.... if I gain income I have to declare it against pension.... do the same rules apply or is this just free money - reparations and compensation of some kind - jeez - even those are subject to tax and social security rules..... must be different rules for different races, eh? But that's not racist..... Just rent payment without responsibility? I note that the major complaint about the complaints of malfeasance is that there is no proper accounting - meaning the Silverback and family take all the cream and then some, live the rock star lifestyle, and grandly hand out a few bucks to the struggling poor ..... dividie? You ready to send in the People's Liberation Army yet to fix all this? |

Octoroons press 8 ... High-steppin' Yellas (teaspoon med students etc) press 9..... Whites press 0 to get the equivalent response and assistance..... 0. Bonus question:- Does UNSW make a fuss over any other ethnic group being in the graduating classes? Surely they laud Juden, given that they are the Jewish Technical College. |

Asinine contention: govt. MUST be made to function for the people. Quote:
That's what the "land rights' " madness has led to - a separate system for blacks. But you refuse to ensure housing and jobs for everyone, you fraud. Quote:
Today we have a rent affordability problem, do try to keep up. Quote:
A dysfunctional system. which you support. Quote:
The CCP is also now runnning into problems, as the old export-driven wealth-creation model fails, because the US (and the West) is trying to bring manufacturing jobs back home. |

"Hello, I bought a new boomerang one for my welcome to country business and want to write it off in tax one - but I can't seem to be able to throw away the old one one. Would I be penalised for having two ones?" "What are you, a comedian one? Get off this helpline at once or one will lose one's patience!" Click. |

**chuckles** 'rent crisis' - the boy doesn't know the difference between the demand for paying the rent and the rental crisis.... just one error in his ways..... hint - one applies to Kooners - the other may but not in the same way.... got it? ;) Once again - two separate issues..... stay out of your cellar filled with books....

The REAL question is closing the gap. [I'm with Simon Birmingham (!) who today said there are more important issues than promoting the Voice eg, closing the gap, and dealing with homelessness and a cost of living crisis]. Quote:
Good government - ensuring provision of housing and jobs for all - is pricessless. Homelessness and entrenched welfare - courstesy of your neoliberal market orthodoxy - are disastrous. Quote:
Both are examples of wrong-headed policies of Liberalism. Oz resources belong to the OZ people, and the dole is a sham. Quote:
No, they can't help. |
