Title: Lesbians in Sport Post by Aussie on Nov 22nd, 2023 at 4:25pm
To satisfy curiosity only, I am interested to know if anyone takes or keeps stats on whether there is an over representation of lesbians in male type sports like soccer, union and league?

It does not matter. My curiosity is whether the lesbian representation in those sorts of sports is greater than the general % in the overall community. Funnily enough Ash Barty got out of womens cricket because she was being hit upon by other female players. |

Title: Re: Lesbians in Sport Post by Ja-Sindarin on Nov 23rd, 2023 at 4:40am
Number One's in Sport are usually ugly and Lesbian.
Tennis is a good example. The Number 2's have always been the hotties. Chris Evert-Lloyd under Martina Dyke Navratilova. Gabriella Sabatini under Steffi Big Nose Graff Even Ash Barty isn't a looker and hence why the Lesbians went for her. At least she had the sense to sacrifice her #1 rule for hetero sanctuary and kids. Let's face it. Women who are good lookers and hetero in sport, become more popular, famous, loved and rich out of sport also - than the fugly ones that are Lesbian and win the #1. Anna Kournikova and Maria Sharipova didn't really 'dominate' much beyond the odd tournament. Anna certainly didn't - but they did travel very well outside of the sport. |

The answer is yes the percentage is high they are outnumbered by Hetro girls but not by as much as in the general community. Studies have not been comprehensive but the testosterone theory seems to not be correct though there are another group of male hormones which look more promising. It is understandable that the male type in the relationship would be more competitive and sports oriented but this does not seem to be supported as couples form within the team suggesting that it is both types. |
Title: Re: Lesbians in Sport Post by Jovial Monk on Nov 24th, 2023 at 12:17pm
The adrenal glands in both sexes generate small amounts of testosterone. When a woman has a hard life physically—laboring on a farm etc—the glands generate a bit more so some male characteristics appear in a mild form. The presence of testosterone boosts muscle production when muscles are exercised.

Post-Menopausal Lesbians Flee America Over Concerns About Forced Pregnancies
LONDON — A pair of post-menopausal lesbians announced they had fled the United States over concerns about forced pregnancies. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi revealed that they had taken refuge in the serene English countryside where they could be free from being forced to carry babies to term. "No one's forcing me to have a baby," Ellen said of her decision to leave the United States. "Okay, sure, I can't have one for biological reasons — and I'm a lesbian — but still. Hands off my uterus, Trump." England, known for having stricter abortion laws than DeGeneres and Rossi's former home of California, had already helped make them feel safe because J.K. Rowling making Dumbledore gay has made everyone so understanding. "I say, isn't that the Ellen chap from the tele?" local Englishman Theo Underhill was overheard asking his manservant as he spotted the lesbians out for a stroll. "By Jove, I believe it is! Can't get pregnant, you know. Lesbians, that is." Portia de Rossi said it was hard to leave California as an actress who isn't getting any more work, but it was all worth it. "I'm just glad no one will force us to be pregnant ever again," she said. "Which is good, even though it's impossible." At publishing time, DeGeneres and de Rossi's relationship was called into question for other reasons, including the fact that most people assumed Ellen was a ten-year-old boy whose middle-aged mother was being very inappropriate with him. |

Doctors Report Startling Rise In Testicular Injuries Among Woman Athletes
"This new wave of testicular injuries to female athletes has really come out of nowhere," said Dr. Ryan Kitchen of Boston College's Institute of Sports Medicine. "Years ago, there were absolutely no reported testicular injuries that occurred during women's sporting events. If only we could determine what led to this sudden rise. Such a puzzle!" Institutions around the world have also noticed the disturbing trend and are pouring research dollars into discovering the cause, which is almost certainly a complicated issue with no easy or obvious answers whatsoever. |

So you're objecting that they play a less "beautiful" game than the men do? I find it interesting that the comparison is between women in sport, and men in sport. Wouldn't it be more illuminating to compare women in sport, with women generally? And of course men in sport, with men generally? Now I just watched most of a day's play in men's Test cricket. I feel worse for it, due to the heavy load of advertising and channel 7 self-promotion. A few times "wife and family" was mentioned, but nothing approaching mention of a player's sexuality. I swear, a woman with tits could have squared up to bat, and none of the commentators would have said a word. Could we please have the same respect for women playing sports? Their sexuality is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. |
