On the approval numbers Biden should lose but from the Iowa popcorn bag election with 30% turnout and 11% of republicans vowing to vote for Biden over Trump well the stage is set.

I wouldn't call trump stupid. He was the POTUS, so no illusions of grandeur there.
He is just the wrong temperament for that position. He has a very american personality. 
Many americans believe everything he says, which for a narcissist would be like throwing petrol on a fire.

America is in a bad situation leader wise.
We have been there not so long ago, it did us a lot of harm.

I hope they can reach a good solution.
Trump is 77 years old and of the wrong temperament. When an expresident says 'I will be your retribution....... ' he is dangerous, divisive and unelectable.
Biden is 81 years old and has done much better than I thought he would but is far too old.
