$10m of taxpayers money spent on Media-promo of a 'Aussie'-style induced rejection of the Voice because it was National as it's only excuse and intruding with a State 'isolated' version. Some people just can't take NO for an answer, even from the people who its trying to 'exploit'.

Well, when you think about it - which most of us don't normally - it IS insulting to an Aboriginal group to have someone not of their own speaking for them. We all know how well that works for US with our elected representatives - though how they would run a voice at local level is beyond me.
Like the Original Voice, the Mini Voice is as unrealistic and unwieldy and as problematic given the literally hundreds of small groups who would not feel - and often would not be - represented and having THEIR voice over THEIR problems hear. As I said - it's the same with us... but since many of them are isolated it is harder. We, at least, can see a sign put up on the bad bit of road that says it all - "Fix The Fv(king Road!". I think I know who put that there... but it worked. Out here we have a small quorum who do free work for this small community - myself included - I go down with my rideon and cut the dangerously high grass back on a busy corner. |

Premier Peter Malinauskas & his Labor Govt obviously are driving an ideological agenda & don't give a stuff what Sth Aust voters think.
That sort of attitude by the QLD Labor Govt has seen them sliding down the opinion polls & for the 1st time in more than a decade the LNP is looking like it could tip Labor out next election. QLDers have done it before .... kicked a Labor govt out because they did the wrong thing ... then after 1 term they kicked the LNP out because they went down the same path. Sth Australians should do the same ... when they don't listen boot them out ... put the other side in.. & if they don't perform... same deal. |

Rather a collection of small collectives who cannot be represented by anyone outside their group,it seems. Unworkable.... that won't stop the Malaufactor 'government, though - HTF does some bloody Gypo with strange ideas get to be a state premier? What IS wrong with you people? Is there no-one who will rise and shoot down this woke insanity before it devours us all? |
