So what??

Thylacines roamed mainland Australia at one time too.

What's this supposed to prove about Aboriginals?

Don't tell me they were Anthropologists as well as mathematicians?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Aborigines traded those in their long trips around the whole country they never knew existed until after 1787 BC (Black Cuntry until 1787)...  Year 0 AD was 1788 - Australian Domain....

I don't know why I bother. Your Racism blinds you to any new research findings.  That Tasmanian Devil's tooth shows that Indigenous Australians traded, long distances for objects,  acrosss tribal boundaries.  You lot just dismiss anything that challenges your narrow minded views on matters.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  ::) ::)

What do you mean by trading long distances Brian? Travelling long distances in order to trade?

This is why you are treated like a nob.
You didn't 'ask a question' of FD, so what and how is he to answer your question first for your sooooo sensitive 'ego'?

It's pretty obvious that you've never been trained to think for yourself. Just follow the orders.
It shows, because you can't cope when others have the ability to think for themselves.

Yawning and Maggie memes and ABC headlines are not questions, dozy fathead.

Nobody has ever REFUSED to answer your questions, dickheaddle. People just don't give you the answer you want, on the VERY rare occasion when you are not yawning but actually saying or asking something semi-coherent.
You want to pose as some sort of victim, cockwomble, but you ain't. You are just a stupid, vapid, empty headed troll from Perth. Like the unflushable turd.

I'm not even going to bother to 'prove' to you such a common knowledge. You shouldn't have to research too hard to find this a well known fact. I've known about such stuff since a kid.
Not my fault you missed the boat on this common knowledge for many decades.

Would you believe that Denisovian Tasmanian Aborigines used to exist all over the mainland of Australia long ago?

The utter fury with which anything suggesting Aboriginal people did anything other than thump each other over the head with sticks is met on this forum is representative of nothing more than the dying embers of poorly educated, aging out sector of the population.

The present and the future will know and do better.

Absolute phukking lying speculative bullshyte.

Mainland Australia was home to Tasmanian Devils and Thylacines in the era of Mega Fauna.

The introduction of the Dingo saw their extinction.

Quote:
The Tasmanian devil was formerly present across mainland Australia, but became extinct there 3,500 years ago, co-incident with the extinction of the Thylacine from the region.

Aboriginals did not cross Bass Strait to trade.

The Aboriginals of Tasmania were a different people to mainland Aboriginals.

We are not narrow minded. It common knowledge & commonsense. Something you lack.

You are hellbent on pushing fictitious nonsense to falsely elevate the status of pre-historic Hunter Gatherer Aboriginals to ridiculous levels of advancement.

The present and the future will know and do better.

Why don't you put up or STFU???

Show some factual supporting information or stick your virtue signalling acid tongue to bed you twat.

I stand corrected by Frank. BriYawn is a knob.

'Everyone' knows the mainland was full of Devils, Thylacines and more. There are countless rock paintings in the far north of Australia depicting such fauna.  ::)

Really?  Where?  I think you are telling Porkie Pies, JaSin.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  ::) ::)

So, no evidence then?  just some hippy "knowledge" that you made up?  Oh, dearie, dearie, me, tsk, tsk, tsk...  ::) ::)

You really are a lazy minded wanker. Just look up images of Northern Australian Rock Art - Thylacines and Devils you twit.  ::)
Btw - I'm 'Feral'.  ;)

Well, Mr.Feral, I've just done a thorough search of the web and found none of Tasmanian Devils outside of Tasmania.  Funny that, hey?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  ::) ::)

Do you seriously not know how to use google Brian? Or read? This was in the article you posted:

No Brian reckons the tooth was a long distance trade trinket. Taken to the Juukan Gorge residents by a travelling salesman. ;D

Mothra have you found any anti Jewish propaganda to post lately? Perhaps you could just make some up? Hamas needs you support.

I don't know why I bother. It shows nothing of the kind, Bbwian. Your wishful thinking is showing, preening old duffer.  Unseemly.

The Australian Museum says:

Tasmanian Devils were once abundant on mainland Australia as evidenced by fossil remains. Reliable fossil evidence suggests they became extinct from the mainland between 3,200 and 3,500 years ago. They are widespread and common in Tasmania but are not currently found on the Bass Strait islands, although subfossils have been found on Flinders Island.

The only interesting thing about Aborigines is that they stayed unchanged for so long.

It is the closest humans have come to animals in NOT changing for epochs That is fascinating. The rest of us take curiosity, discovery, movement, evolving, change to be essential to the universal human spirit. Aborigines demonstrate this not to be universal at all.
THAT is interesting.

What do you mean by trading long distances Brian? Travelling long distances in order to trade?

Please don't be ignorant and downplay the meaning of this.

Don't think he can.
He's been speared, gutted, skinned, salted and hung up to dry like a devil on the mainland gone extinct by the hand of the Aborigine man.
His only comeback is to be in denial.

Aborigines did anything more than thump one another over the heads?  When did that happen?  The only culture on earth that didn't stop their wars at conquering the tribe and stealing the women.... they killed the bloody lot.  You see vestiges of this to this very day - look at that inquiry in the NT into Abo brutes in family.....

I'm still considering going to Israel... perhaps she could get up a go fund me to get rid of me.......

Oh - methra was here today... I'll take her name off the list of The Disappeared Ones.... now for smith and laughing stock.... lefty is fine - still struggling with his sanity ....making progress..... at least he tries to stay quiet here... aye - but you get a waft of him when you move aside the curtains a little....

BriYawn takes the 'denial' route - refusing to answer to all that 'everyone' has put to him in this Topic.

...so how's that Thylacines & Devils well known for many decades, in the far north of Australia going for you BriYawn? Care to answer?

This was put to you before FD.
Are you trying to use FD to steer clear of answering up?

Not in the slightest, JaSin.  I am still unable to find any pictures of Devils from the North of Australia.  I am willing to bow to your superior knowledge if you can show me any.  Plenty of Thylocines,  just no Devil ones.  Care to demonstrate your superiority?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  ::) ::)

Seems one occurrence even in the NT.

Quote:
A late Quarternary record of Sarcophilus from the Mygoora Local Fauna, from Mygoora Lake in southern Northern Territory, is the 1st record from central Australia (Megirian et al. 2002). More recent remains are from the Devil’s Lair Local Fauna (southwestern Western Australia, 35,000–2,000 years ago) and Fromm’s Landing Local Fauna (South Australia, < 4,000 years ago). S. harrisii also is known (from one i3) from the upper layers of Pyramids Cave in eastern Victoria, a deposit of Holocene age (Wakefield 1967a). Another Holocene (3,120 ± 100 years ago) record is from the Padypadiy archeological site in Northern Territory. A 2nd record from northern Australia (Calaby and White 1967) is a skull fragment from Cape York, Queensland, dated 11,000–10,000 years ago (Horton 1977).
