I moved the thread to Aussie's place because it was unfair that Monk couldn't vote

Is he 'thinking' for you?
Is he trying to cause friction for Environmental Board by having someone else 'usurp' Bobby as Moderator?

Funny how Monk has all these great ideas for everything other Board, but he has failed dismally and ruined Cats & Critters Board for all time. He is a FAILED Moderator here.

Monk provoked me to write this topic, because he lacks the practical knowledge of climate change.
Today, I was at Emu Park, doing my research on high tides. Tonight, being a full moon, I marked out lines on the beach where I thought tides would be located, according to timeanddate website on moon phases.
My uncle taught me the guidelines for where to mark the tides.
I was 99% accurate for the final marking. I was out by 4 minutes closer to the tides. The angle of the tides vs markings was also a little askew.

And perhaps Monk has been hacked. We just don't know if it is Monk making those idiotic claims of 15 degrees Celsius increase with doubling of carbon emissions.
Perhaps if 90% of present trees were eliminated, yes, there would be highly likely that 15 degrees temperature increase would happen. Not with the way this world works.

To understand climate science, you need to understand social science.

The reality is that if you study basic weather patterns and have an understanding of politics, you can have an intermediate understanding of Earth science. Speaking of which, if you understand the basic interrelations of the carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc, you are well on your way to meteorology status.

It is a silly question -

when people post on my MRB I ask for links to back up what they say.

Hopefully they quote text which leads to the opinion of climate experts or meteorologists.

I did have an "other" option.  I voted for that. Because I have doubts, with me being on medical leave.

I would hope that my anecdote I posted is evidence enough. Witness statements are pending.
