I got this message just now.
(Image size 166K   size 750 x 617 pixels.)

With this file Steak_asparagus_and_noodles.jpg (166 KB)
you exceeds the maximum allowed upload-directory volume.

I also got the same message for another photo I tried to upload earlier today.

Please fix it.



(I used an image host as upload doesn't work.)

"upload directory" might contain other material you never actually posted. You would expect that to purge after some time, but the board is running old software.

I don't know how much disk space he has but considering the crap he has no prob leaving here a couple of meg shouldn't matter. Then again I don't know his disk space allowance or allotments so that's the best I can do for now.

No - there is a certain allocated memory for images and it is not enough -

more could be allocated by FD.

Work around - download your piccie to Downloads - go to Meme Generator - upload your piccie - 'Upload New Template' - for a meme  ... just leave it as is or add smart-ass words, hit 'create meme' and it comes through as is.  Right click and 'copy image address' and post as an image.

Is the problem that you keep uploading the same image over and over and over like you tend to do, or are you not able to upload anything, just a general disk space issue etc?

I don't do that.
I only load an image once.
I uploaded a new image last night and it worked.

Seems to be working now...
