California seems to be losing a lot of businesses, large and small.
It’s been Democrat for over twenty years; what could be wrong?

The usual thing, high taxes ... plus wokeness

California has some pretty oppressive laws as well. It's a beautiful place ruined by liberalism. 

I just can’t believe that California is going down hill, it’s been run by the Democrats for decades; by now it should be a national utopia and an object lesson to the other States.

Basically: Too long under the Democrats control. Democracy and capitalism needs balance.
California needs a period of Conservative party rule to re-balance itself.
