Interestingly, there was a story on MSN yesterday about a LGBTQ site shut down by Facebook in Rockhampton - and the people who built it had their personal accounts restricted.  It seems that indeed there are moves afoot by some social media companies to halt access to some things.  Question is - what is good and what is bad - and as long as kids are not allowed to access this kind of thing, surely gays etc have the right to discuss.

Just saying for a friend.

Let the parents control access. They buy the phone. Set up multiple accounts. One for the parent, one for the kid the phone is for. The kid's profile can have any access the parent allows.

For EG, a Galaxy tablet..

What business is it of theirs to censor anyone? Isnt it up to parents?

Yes - but at the sharp end there are sites that should only be available with genuine parental approval.  One unspoken aim of this is to cut down on and control access to 'how to cut your genitals off' sites ... filling kids with mad ideas of some Utopian future.... I corrected a generally reliable user just yesterday - elsewhere - on the use of the term 'creating a functional vagina' from a young man's body... there is NO SUCH THING as a 'functional vagina' by surgery... or a functional penis.

Such terms are lies and are insidious, offering the totally false idea that a wee cut will just make it all right for you, when what it does is destroy what you are.

Ouch - let me take a headache pill here - I need to be transheadache....  FFS ..  people claim to have 'transitioned' by taking a pill..... superhero comic stuff or Dr Jekyll and his elixir... in just seven days I can make you a man....

The solution is quite simple we don't need to ban kids from social media parents can do it. ;)

The government needs to push this social media ban to impose digital ID so we can be like the UK who jail people for FB posts.

This misinformation/ social media ban for kids comes from the unelected bureaucrats at the WEF.
