Indian taxi driver jailed for just 10 months for sexually assaulting passenger in Melbourne.

An Indian taxi driver who sexually assaulted a drunk female passenger in Melbourne
before stealing her engagement ring will walk free from jail in just five months.

Satinder Satinder, 29, on Monday pleaded guilty to non-consensual sexual touching and theft in Melbourne Magistrates Court where he was sentenced to 10 months’ imprisonment, including about five months already served.

Magistrate Kay Robertson called his crimes “repulsive and as wrong as could possibly be”, but said in sentencing she had considered the deterioration of the immigrant sex predator’s mental health while behind bars,
where he was isolated in protective custody due to threats from other inmates, The Age reported.


She also said he had been the victim of racism during his time spent in jail so far.

“You have had to be kept in a secure cell, in part because you are of a different colour to other prisoners, and in part because word has got out about the type of offence you have committed,” she said, and noted the maximum sentence in the magistrates court was two years.

Satinder, a father of one, was caught on his in-taxi CCTV subjecting his victim, now 30, to a horrific 45-minute ordeal after picking her up from Collins St in Melbourne’s CBD at 3.30am on June 27. He was arrested at Tullamarine Airport trying to flee the country on June 29.

Court documents stated the woman was “clearly intoxicated” but nevertheless attempted to push Satinder’s hands away as he repeatedly groped her, thrusting his hands underneath her shirt and pants.

Satinder then took three minutes to remove her engagement ring, and shoved his face into her breasts after pulling her top down.

In statement read to the court by the prosecutor the victim said: “Someone took advantage of me in what should have been a safe place.

“My experience as a mother and partner has been forever altered. I no longer feel like I can provide the kind of security and safety I want for my children. I push myself to keep going, but I don’t feel OK.

“The shame I feel is overwhelming, but so is the anger. Someone took these actions that turned my life upside down, and now I carry the weight of their choices.”

Satinder will be deported after completing his sentence,
which is expected to be served entirely in protective custody.

You would have to make it look like another Indian had killed him. But, given the nature of Indians to make out any crime in Australia is a white guy trying to hurt minorities, the Indians won't fall for such a rouse.

I do not attribute criminal behaviour to racial heritage. I attribute the special privilege of indigenous Australians to be the creation of "white guilt" governments of the 1980s and 1990s.

I grew up in an era when indigenous Australians were given leniency of responsibility in their everyday life. Adult indigenous people were reprimanded about as heavily as a young teenager. An indigenous teenager was never convicted of a crime, unless the crime was serious.

Wake up, Brian. Just because you have given up in life, it does not mean my next 40 years in the community is going to be about ignoring some people because they belong to a certain racial group.

I will admit that I did not consider that the topic was about Indian rapists. That said, I would love it if Indians moved into Brian's neighbourhood and did their Indian version of "Dumb, drunk and racist" with Brian. For a guy who spent a considerable amount of time in Perth, you talk a lot of rot about space. I remember 20 years ago, people would talk about the fights of indigenous people versus African migrants.

Meanwhile, I cannot get over town between 4 and 6pm at night without traffic delays on two bridges in a town of 80,000 people.

Where are you housing those new migrants, Brian? In the outskirts of well-planned Australian metropolitian cities? Lots of luck with that. Plenty of city-slickers are struggling to pay rent or mortgages on homes that are so far away from their jobs that there is a lack of people wanting to have more children. That is why you see a population implosion in cities, with reinforcement of new residents coming in from regional and rural communities.

It's taken hard British influenced Australian politics and police to try and bring discipline back. The ALP/Albanese were very reluctant to take this line. The NLP/Dutton would have done a better job of it.

There is probably less crime in 21st century Britain than there was in the 19th century. Proportionally speaking.

The Chinese would pay to have black people work for them. Not much good paying mainly white people to mine for resources at a higher rate of pay.
