I cannot, for the life of me… find my little Xmas tree with flashing lights I bought last year!
In the meantime… I’m going overboard with tinsel!
It’s still not the same …
Looking in old boxes I had stored with Xmas written in it… I found very antique baubles… those breakable ones… remember those?
Anyway… just for the heck of Xmas cheer… trying to destress…. Tinsel is cheery!   8-)
First I attacked the entry hallway!

Hey Monk…. Remember before COVID hue here was a big place I told you about called hunted and collected? And it sadly ended up closing down because of 2 x COVID lockdowns?

Remember I said opposit was the iconic Fonzie’s Diner?
Very happy days with waitresses dressed 50s and heaps of classic cars go there.
We just drove past and it’s different, plain colours, different business…

Well Fonzie’s was a family business… started before COVID bs and they had to close down in October, saud with heart breaking news since COVID closure they were chasing their tails financially.

They’ve sold off all that memorabilia… there were signed posters too!
I’m devastated!  :'(

I am only disappointed that Hunted and Collected are shut.

Going back to SA for a week or so around May next year—could have another gettogether? No time constraints this time.

My chrissy lights are up for the first time in two years - though some have suffered from being in the shed.... and it's hard to climb ladders now...

Gosh I miss garage sales!
It was like our Saterday morning social visits to various homes and having yarns with people.

Perfume! I have a few! I have one I bought at St Pancras train station about to go to Paris … I went to share with daughter today and she didn’t like it!
Said to me not to put it on otherwise if I hug her or cuddle dog, the scent…it transfers!
So… I decided okay, not on me… I sprayed the plastic Xmas tree instead!  ;D

It’s a lovely flowery smell. Pic below.
