Title: Toe nail infections Post by Sir Eoin O Fada on Dec 24th, 2024 at 11:21am
Fungal infections can be embarrassing, painful or just generally annoying and their treatment may be long and expensive.
One much touted treatment is just under $100 for a very small bottle and very slow to work. There is however a very inexpensive treatment that works fast and is available ‘’over the counter’’, Vick’s Vaporub. Applied night and morning a few days will see an improvement. Unfortunately it cannot be recommended by health professionals because clinical trials have not been conducted for this purpose. |

I think one of the natural oil is also good.
Oil of rosemary, something like that. Bare feet or sandals may help avoid toenail infections. |

Tea tree oil. My late father had it prescribed by his podiatrist, and it worked a treat. |

Do not use tea tree oil as a topical oil. That stuff will wreck your testosterone levels. However, Vicks Vaporub will do the opposite, as long as you are not using that more than a couple times a week. And you can use Vicks as long as you are not indulging in alcohol. I started applying Vicks to my feet to try and cure the fungal infection on my feet, every work day. But, after a while, I discovered that the Vicks was being overused. I cut back to twice a week. These days, I just use the Vicks after I clip my toenails once a week. Another treatment is to either use turmeric powder on your served up vegetables or salads for your meals. Just once a day is more than sufficient. Or you could take turmeric tablets. It seems that you get better blood flow and nutrients to your extremities. Just a few days after taking the supplements, I have noticed how healthy the nails on both hands and feet appear. |

Well I hope that Vicks brings comfort to someone, even the Post Total seeking ‘’humourists’’.
