I think President Xi is playing Putin for a sucker by providing help in Ukraine
but actually hoping Russia will lose and become weak.

I suppose it's good in a way -

it gets rid of Putin and
we will be safer here in Australia if China is pre-occupied with Russia.
Taiwan will also breathe a sigh of relief.   :)

Yep. I've been seeing this happen since 2000. Been posting a Sino v Russo major War since joining this Forum. It's an inevitable circumstance.

Russia will even call the USA for help. But with the collapse of the Democrats, America won't.
But if anything. Crazy North Korea will also want it's revenge and bring the USA into the global conflicts.

I have been saying China wants its “Lost Territories” back. It is infiltrating lots of Han Chinese into East Siberia. The fear of nuclear retaliation might be holding them back.
