With its final gasp New York's "Lawfare Gang"
Sentences Themselves to Eternal Obscurity!

Merchan sentences Trump: The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Donald Trump’s emergency petition to block Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan from issuing his sentencing against the president-elect over the dubious hush-money conviction.

As a result, Merchan followed through on his decision to sentence Trump today and, as anticipated, has given him a sentence of "Unconditional Discharge".

Trump will be released without restrictions and faces no jail time, but the sentence means the Democrats who engaged in their 'Lawfare Campaign' against Trump get to officially call him a felon.

The remaining question is for how long, given the likelihood that Trump will prevail in his appeal.

Forever labelled a convicted criminal (and adjudicated rapist)   :)

Donald Trump will enter the White House as a felon.

Donald Trump was sentenced without penalty in the New York hush money case Friday after a symbolic – and historic and unprecedented – hearing following the first felony conviction of a former and soon-to-be sitting president.

Judge Juan Merchan spoke to Trump for several minutes, telling the president-elect that it was the office of the presidency – and not the occupant – that was afforded extraordinary legal protections requiring him to impose a sentence of unconditional discharge without any punishment.

Trump was convicted in May on 34 counts of falsifying business records. While he has vowed to keep fighting the conviction through the appeals courts, Friday’s sentencing cements the fact that Trump will be the first convicted felon to become president 10 days from now.

Cheers.
