Wonder World presenter and creator Simon Townsend dies aged 79 - best remembered as a conscription resister in the 1960s. :(

His TV show was very good.

I met Simon a couple of times at a pub in South Yarra in about 1985.

He was quite a nice person - friendly and intelligent -
he played the drums with the band there many times -
he was a great drummer.

sad to hear he has passed away.
