Things are already getting better and you can see people are realizing that Trump is going to bring back common sense. Hamas, Iran and Russia have run amok while Joe was down the beach, what was it 540 days of holidays in the last 3.5 years.

Pedos, indeed.

"The woman who was at the center of a yearslong Justice Department investigation into sex trafficking allegations surrounding Rep. Matt Gaetz testified to the House Ethics Committee that the now-former Florida congressman had sex with her when she was 17 years old, sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

"President-elect Donald Trump announced Wednesday that Gaetz had been tapped to serve as attorney general, overseeing the very branch of government that previously conducted its own investigation of him, which ended last year without charges being brought."

It has, the buyer's remorse that is, especially for small business owners who are now, albeit too late, finally understanding how tariffs work and realising the products they import are about to cost them more.

If Trump implements things he said he would, people will realise that the results don't match what they were sold during the campaign.  The mid-terms will be a bloodbath.

Or Trump will prove that what he said he would do is a lie, and he will be more moderate, meaning all the wet dreams of the lunatic fringe will remain as just that, a dream.

Just like his first term.

Either way, as long as they keep their damage within their borders and their economic crashes due to the tariffs and rampant inflation and economic mismanagement don't go global, the next 4 years and the tears from Trump's supporters when he betrays them, again, will be glorious.

The popcorn is ready.

Importers don't really do much for the economy do they, all they do is take money out of the community and send it overseas after taking their cut. This will help producers who make products and keep their business dollars in America.

Tariffs can be effective when they are carefully targeted and accompanied by comprehensive measures to rebuild and support local industries. This includes strategic subsidies, investment in infrastructure, and workforce development to ensure domestic producers can meet the demand of local consumers. Without these preparations, blanket tariffs risk harming the economy by driving up costs for consumers and import-dependent businesses, rather than fostering sustainable growth in local industries

But that's not what Trump has proposed.

If only you were in the US and could experience the outcomes of the things you support, yet clearly don't understand.  It's an injustice that you won't.

It matters nothing what Trump does or does not do you are going to find fault. Trump might not have the knowledge and experience with tariffs that you have but at least he gets things done. You on the other hand with all your experience and know how on tariffs have done nothing with it except run down Trump. Why would someone like yourself who has all the answers not do something positive like run for government instead of taking sniper shots at those that actually do something. Why are you wasting all of your abilities and not out doing something for your community.

That’s simply false. I’ve made my stance clear from the outset, if he somehow manages to pull this off, not only will I be taken aback and offer due credit, but I’ll also be questioning the very orthodoxy I adhere to, as well as reassessing my own views.

However, any supposed success of Trump in this regard must be grounded in reality. It cannot be yet another of his unfounded boasts about the “wall being complete” when, in truth, only roughly 47 miles of new wall actually constructed. This has nothing to do with the grandiose claims of accomplishment he likes to peddle.

If his success is real, it can't be argued with.  But since he lies about all his accomplishments, it needs to be verified first.

Quote:
Trump might not have the knowledge and experience with tariffs that you have but at least he gets things done.

The reality is, doing the wrong thing is far worse than doing nothing at all.

It seems you’re more focused on crafting a narrative where Trump’s every move is viewed through the lens of success.  It is starting to paint your accusation that I would do the opposite nothing but a form of projection.

I have no interest in stepping into the political arena, having witnessed firsthand the lengths one must go to merely to be elected, even at the most local levels like council.

Instead, I’ve found a more principled way to contribute to society without compromising my values through volunteer work. My time spent with organisations like Meals on Wheels, Rosies, and the numerous trips I took as part of the mud army to assist with flood clean-up in Brisbane have been far more meaningful and rewarding.

At least prior to COVID anyway.

Not by a majority of voters.

Nobody has won the majority of voters for half a century or more. With voter turnout around 55-70%, probably nobody can.

It is not accurate that the US was not involved in any wars during Trump's term in office???

Quote:
U.S. airstrikes in Yemen have increased sixfold under Trump

Last year the U.S. carried out 131 airstrikes against al Qaeda and ISIS in Yemen, up from 21 strikes in 2016. There were at least 10 more in January.

Soon after the Trump administration took office, it declared parts of Yemen as well as neighboring Somalia to be "areas of active hostilities," giving the U.S. military more leeway to target terrorists from the air and on the ground without White House approval.

The U.S. launched a massive SEAL Team 6 operation in January the week after Trump was inaugurated. One Navy SEAL was killed and five were wounded in that raid. In addition, 29 Yemenis, including 16 civilians, were killed, according to U.S. intelligence officials. Subsequent to that, CENTCOM accelerated its airstrikes in follow-on attacks.

Yeah it was a landslide, Trump won all of the swing states, have you ever heard of that before.

When he won 312 to 226 it became an official landslide as recorded for history. Dems and far left nutjobs have a hard time swallowing this pill.

Trump gave Hamas until the 20th and they know they have to have a ceasefire by then.

Now that Hamas has capitulated to Trump his status will skyrocket especially after winning in a landslide. His impact on the world has been immediate and powerful, Hamas have rolled over, Putin is looking for an escape hatch and Trump has a mandate given to him in his landslide victory at the election.

Its no longer the worst kept secret, its out in the left news now. Biden has dementia, a horrible disease and I wish him well but it should never have come to this. The Biden administration is the worst disaster the United States and the Middle East have ever faced. They empowered the Taliban in Afghanistan, placed former Al-Qaeda leaders in Syria, and are now allowing Hamas terrorists to remain in Gaza. The Biden administration has become more Islamist than the Islamists themselves. Consequently, we in the Middle East are left to deal with these Islamist remnants, either pragmatically or through elimination.

The ceasefire in #Gaza is a cruel mirage. It may not last. It may not bring peace. How can it, when the Biden administration cannot see the truth behind the Muslim Brotherhood's lies? This is an entity that has never kept a promise, one that thrives on betrayal. How can anyone expect honor from those who burned families alive and broadcast their screams for the world to see on October 7th? A day before, there was peace, children playing, families smiling. And then, the next day, the skies turned black with smoke, and the ground was stained with the blood of innocents. Babies were ripped from their mothers' arms, their cries silenced by bullets. Dreams were shattered in an instant, as entire families disappeared into the fire of hatred. How can we trust them again? How can anyone?

No matter your politics, you cannot deny this: Israel has risen above Hezbollah’s reign of terror, offering Lebanon a glimmer of hope. Israel has given Syrians a chance to break free from Assad’s chains. But the fight for freedom is theirs to secure, it is their responsibility to ensure that Islamists do not poison the air they now breathe. Every nation, including Israel, has the undeniable right to destroy these networks of terror. Islamists aim to benefit from ceasefires anywhere, as terror thrives on deceit, manipulation of the media, and empty words. #Israel, even in its grief, extends the hand of mercy, giving evil the chance to repent. But evil does not repent. It does not change. It merely hides behind new masks, waiting for the next moment to strike.

Peace. A beautiful word, but with Islamists, it is a cruel joke. Peace with Hamas is as impossible as extinguishing a wildfire with tears. Hamas has cast away every shred of humanity. They glorify kidnapping children, burning women alive, and slaughtering Jews, Muslims, and Bedouins alike. They revel in the pain they cause. They celebrate destruction as though it were a sacred ritual. How can any nation negotiate with such vile enemies of life? The priority must be clear: save the hostages, rescue the innocent, and, like Nasrallah, hunt down every single perpetrator of these atrocities. Even the abduction of an eight-month-old baby, an act so vile, so unthinkable, must not be left unanswered. Evil has no right to exist among the living.

And yet, there are those in the West who claim they care about ceasefires. Leaders like Keir Starmer in the UK and Emmanuel Macron in France talk of peace but fail to see the cancer at its root: the Muslim Brotherhood, the very foundation of Hamas. Why won’t you ban them in your country?

https://x.com/amjadt25/status/1879685097235869815

UAE, Saudis,Egypt etc have banned the Muslim Brotherhood they declared it a terrorist group.

Why do leftists in the west ignore calls from muslims to ban the muslim brotherhood?
