Poor freediver. Doesn't know squat about offshore turbines. There are two anchoring systems currently in use. One is a monopile, that is one anchoring point, the other, for floating wind farms has an array of cables affixed to multiple anchoring points. Otherwise the wind farms would wander wherever wind and wave took them. And the transmission cables don't have much stretch.  ;)

It's true though. Noise pollution is amplified incredibly loud underwater. Having a pile-driver bang down on pylons into the water across the other side of a bay, sounds like a car crash right next to you. Also, the bay was empty of highly mobile sea life for the extent of that repetitive daily noise that lasted for many months.

Lee thought they were going to blow up the reef to get the piles in. Then he criticised others for knowing squat about the construction practices.
