First of all, what she said was completely right. Secondly, this is why someone like Trump is a terrible choice for President. He surrounds himself with sycophants who will only tell him what he wants to hear in order to please him, which is just completely wrong on so many levels. A leader needs people who will tell them how it is, not what they want to hear, because otherwise bad decisions will be made. Imagine the absurdity of a woman of the cloth having to plead with the President of the United States to show an ounce of mercy to the very people he swore to serve and protect. The sheer necessity of such a plea is a damning indictment of the current state of leadership, or lack thereof.

So am I.  It was right to take 1/4 of the planet. If it didn't then who else would do the job?  Might is right, power is from guns and the gods are English.  It owns Americas including all the Spanish bits (not Brazil, that's a Portuguese ally). Somehow it lost it all but has 8 acres of airfields to rule the waves.  The British land territory belongs on the Mississippi, in the midday sun with mad dogs.
