I'm sure action like that will increase the powers available to Trump. If someone takes on Trump remember they all lose. Everyone now rely on Trump for security. That's not making a deal, unless you're saying the election was rigged in his favour?

There are few if any deals he's made, at least publically, where he's been holding all the cards, unless you count settlements he's made to avoid conviction or other court rulings, but that's more of an accountability thing, for his criminal conduct.

I make deals all the time as I'm sure you do, but does that make us beholden to whoever we make a deal with. If your experience is you are now beholden to the other party of the deal then you really should not be commenting on the ability of others.
