He thinks he's a stable genius and that he knows what he's doing. Tell that to the thousands of Americans about to lose their jobs because of his idiotic, pointless trade war.

Countries had been warned…

About Trade imbalances
About running Illegal Aliens through their country into the US
About flooding drugs into the US from their country…

They’ve done nothing to quell the situation - so - Trump is doing what every good parent should do and follow through with their warning…

FAFO

And if you ask these other countries about it - their “Citizens” - they would all agree with Trump and the citizens of the United States…

Take a look at Sweden and Germany or even the UK - like 1 in every 7 girls have been raped by these scumbag illegal immigrants - and thats only the ones that they know of….

Take a look at Conservative Parties all over the world - Italy for instance - cracking down on illegal immigrants and shipping them back to their own countries…

And you have to realise - that there is a “dark force” who are rounding up the scum of the earth and moving them to Western Countries to destroy the fabric of their society…

NGOs doing a lot of the work with the American Tax Payer paying for it - George Soros, Bill Gates, the UN

The Conservatives are gaining traction in Germany - the number one priority?

Deport All immigrants…

Buckle Up…

The woke mind virus is dying - but it’s going to fight back …

Quote:
“We need to protect Americans, and it is my duty as President to ensure the safety of all. I made a promise on my Campaign to stop the flood of illegal aliens and drugs from pouring across our Borders, and Americans overwhelmingly voted in favor of it,” President Trump said on Truth Social on Saturday.

Quote:
Justin Trudeau confirmed that Canada will impose tariffs on American goods in response to the Tariffs imposed by President Trump yesterday, and the CEO of Shopify, Canada’s largest tech company and second-largest publicly traded company, slammed Trudeau’s poor leadership.

He further said "every Canadian" wants Canada to work with President Trump to secure the borders and stop the flow of fentanyl. "These are not crazy demands," he added.

Little Potato Trudeau can FA but if the US stopped importing ALL Canadas goods they’d collapse in ONE day.. they Country would be finished…

Aww, please...

The tariffs have nothing to do with trade imbalances with Canada and Mexico, nor illegal aliens, or drugs...

For a start, Mexico is not Australia - it doesn't take it up the arse from the US - Mexico could retaliate by opening the northern border and allowing a tsunami of immigrants to enter the US... Why isn't that happening? And it's not because the US would invade Mexico - which would cause a catastrophic economic situation in the US.

Fentanyl from Canada accounts for less than 1% of it entering the US... so... 25% tariffs?

Trade imbalances? Mexico's demography places it the best in the world for the US to exploit... so... 25% tariffs? For what?

Causing imbalance with drastic overnight changes needs balance somewhere else…and so far financially, I am one of the affected… I’ve got a big loss as I’ve invested in 43 crypto coins… so it’s not as if I didn’t diversify!!

The whole playing field is affected. It’s very bearish!

The really big players have pulled squillions out! They know something is going down.
Uncertainty and fear.
Bitcoin is down… and when it sneezes all the others get a very bad cold!

All the reports were on positive highs until that happened… just like that… a flick of the pen by the POTUS …. throws a curveball at you then says catch when you’re not ready?

I bought $100 worth of Bitcoin some time ago so I could watch its progress without being seriously invested...

And what a roller-coasting bullshit ride it's been!

Bitcoin digitally emulates bipolar disorder and the other cryptos join in for the ride!

;D
Oh my goodness, you’re not wrong!
But there’s the quick way of making money (more for the whale$) and then there’s the patient long way to just buy, hold, and forget it for a year or two or five.
I’m in the first category… I’m on it daily, buying, selling, swapping …
I read whatever report or prediction or reviews I could find.

The ones recommended… have just stagnated… then I reckon my guess is as good as any of them… I picked some purely because I liked the name…and they have been the best so far!!!

I fluked buying Onyxcoin (XCN) when it was so low… on a flatline …. Little did I realise it was low down because of some legal entanglement… once that was over… that coin pumped huge and I’m hundreds in credit in a short time! And it caught the attention of the whole crypto crowd! It popped up like outta nowhere saying “here I am!”
And tomorrow… there’s a new white paper deal thingy that’s going to really make it go in an upwards trajectory …. Now this is not financial advice… but whilst it’s in the lower figures to buy… do it now!

Back to what Trump did… he affected so many of us into loss … even a little ole nobody like me in an Australian country township.
I can handle the loss but many young ones can’t as it’s their hope…
Trump and his wife made billions from their shyte meme coin in just 2 days before inauguration… he’s smug and well off this adding to his wealth…
Amazing how the very thing that gave them so much… he has taken away from the rest of us.
Not impressed.

Or an embarrassing backdown because called a win somehow.

But Trump has tripled down on the tariffs, I can't see him backing down even if it's what's best for the nation.

That's not a priority for him.  Unless he can use his sharpie to make the back down look like a win, like updating hurricane tracking maps, it's not going to happen.

You do that through regulation, not tariffs.

The people get punished and foot the bill with the tariffs, and it results in the local industries eventually raising their prices to match the new higher import prices anyway.

Are you starting to get it yet?

There is more to international trade, foreign policy,  domestic policy etc, etc than the price of shoddy goods produced by exploited third worlders.

Too late for that... they're already there...

More like to have them move back to the US...

Mexico has a demographic advantage over the US... it's 20+ years behind the US in its industrialisation which means its birth rate was higher at the crucial time for the maturing of a demographic cohort of right-aged workers.

So like Trump you've abandoned the entire cost of living set of promises that got him elected in the first place.

In less than 2 weeks since he took office no less.

That has to be some sort of record.

So when the prices rise, we slap a Trump "I did this sticker" on it, with your full support Frank.

If he'd stop doing stupid things... Sure.

But the way he's implementing the tariffs, with what should have been done BEFORE he signed the EOs being counter to Project 2025's demands so they're unlikely to ever see the light of day, that means all he has is tariffs.

It is stupid.

Just like he claims those countries will be paying them.

It is stupid.

I'm glad you can see that.

If people make enough noise, he might back down, he's a populist after all.

The alternative?

We just laugh as they go into a recession?

No, because, like the moves he's already making, it hurts us here.

Stop cheering for someone who is going to make our lives more difficult, just to own the libs.  It's not worth it.

Your not looking at the big picture, Trump said he would bring down prices starting on day one. Trump on day one started the process of bringing down the prices by putting tariffs on his biggest trading partners. They will respond in kind, now they have their own problems because prices will rise in their countries too. Trump will force them into restructuring the imports and exports to favor America more than it does now. This closing of the gap between imports and exports will bring down the imbalance America have and reduce the debt. America cannot keep going the way it is.

Not, I will start the process of price reduction, it was he'd bring them down starting day one.

Prices should be going down already, not up as they have been.

And the big picture is terrifying.  Taffis and project 2025 wanting less Government intervention in the private sector in terms of not only regulation but funding and subsidies.

How is be going to rebuild local sectors if he's going to deregulate them further and offer no incentives or protections for private investment and cut back on public subsidies?

The big picture is a hellscape, it makes what he's doing right now just look like the stupidity of a clown.

Mexico schmexico....

Mexico Folds: Sending Troops to Secure Border to Avoid Trump Tariffs
Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum agreed to send 10,000 troops to its northern border as one of the ways to stop a 25 percent tariff from the Trump administration temporarily. The concession comes after days of grandstanding by the Mexican president, who publicly claimed she would stand up for her country’s sovereignty.

On Monday morning, U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced that Mexico had agreed to send 10,000 military troops to its northern border to stop illegal immigration and fentanyl smuggling. Hold your nerve and understand whats going on…

Trump is doing everything he said that he was going to do BEFORE the election…

The US back in the late 1800 and early 1900 NEVER paid income tax…

The government got all of their money from Tariffs…

These pissant countries trying to be tough will crumble like a deck of cards….

50% of Canada’s businesses are already talking about  shifting to the US  ;D

The move allowed Mexico to avoid new tariffs for one month. During that month, officials from both countries would work on a new “deal” between the two countries.

🚨TARIFF UPDATES:
Canada has now caved in too.

Trudeau will also reinforce the border to stop the flow of illegal drugs into America.

Trump’s tariffs are an absolute stroke of GENIUS.

So, within 15 minutes, Mexico and Canada have complex plans in place to avoid tariffs, no doubt with the support of their respective legislatures.

No need to bother the US Congress and the US Supreme Court...

Contrary to his calibrated public image, Trump does not have a stiff arm...

As Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull, no doubt told his Commonwealth peers before he told the world, (paraphrasing) 'Trump will back down if you hold your bottle and your ground'...

He was referring to the asylum-seeker deal made between Obama and Turnbull that Trump reacted angrily to in 2017 and tried to back out from.

Turnbull recounts that Trump raged at him about it being a 'dumb deal' and leant on Turnbull to try to have him agree to revoke it, pleading 'You're a businessman, you've backed out of deals before', to which Turnbull insisted, 'Not after I've signed them, I haven't'.

Trump raged on, but Turnbull refused to relent.

Ultimately, Trump acceded and honoured the deal.

So if Trump doesn't have a position of power in a negotiation, he loses?

Yes, we know.  That's been said from the start.

Canada and Mexico had to save the US people from their own President by making a deal.

Candana and Mexico did the right thing to protect not only their own people from Trump's recklessness but the American people too.

You're assuming, at least, that Trudeau and Sheinbaum have the US people at heart before their own people...

The pantomime was choreographed weeks before the event.

That's how Canada and Mexico were Johnnies-on-the-spot with tariff-stopping deals before they started. Democratic leaders can't whip up multi-billion dollar deals without their respective legislatures endorsing them... that takes more than 15 minutes.

For manufacturers  - let's say Mercedes cars -

It would years to set up a factory in the  USA.
With the Chips Act Biden had to pay
$billions to get the chip companies to set

It's not going to happen under Trump.

Trump said the tariffs were needed because:

Unfair Trade Practices – He claimed that both countries were taking advantage of the U.S. through trade agreements like NAFTA, which he argued led to manufacturing job losses, particularly in the auto and steel industries.

National Security (Section 232 Tariffs) – Trump imposed steel and aluminium tariffs on Canada and Mexico under the pretext of national security, despite the countries being U.S. allies. Critics saw this as an excuse rather than a legitimate security concern.

Leverage for USMCA – The tariffs were also used as a bargaining tool to pressure Canada and Mexico into renegotiating NAFTA, which resulted in the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Stopping Outsourcing – He wanted to discourage American companies from shifting production to Mexico for cheaper labour, especially in the auto industry.

Reducing the Trade Deficit – Trump argued that tariffs would help reduce the U.S. trade deficit by encouraging domestic production.

So does this mean they were lies, or Trump no longer cares about Unfair trade practices, national security, reducing the trade deficit or protecting American jobs?

And then there are what his supporters thought and voted on:

'A protection racket is a type of racket and a scheme of organized crime perpetrated by a potentially hazardous organized crime group that generally guarantees protection outside the sanction of the law to another entity or individual from violence, robbery, ransacking, arson, vandalism, and other such threats, in exchange for payments at regular intervals. Each payment is called "protection money" or a "protection fee". An organized crime group determines an affordable or reasonable fee by negotiating with each of its payers, to ensure that each payer can pay the fee on a regular basis and on time. Protections rackets can vary in terms of their levels of sophistication or organization; it is not uncommon for their operations to emulate the structures or methods used by tax authorities within legitimate governments to collect taxes from taxpayers.'

Trump had the edge on the New York concrete business and now the Americas import trade deals.

pretty much

part of trumps appeal is that "goody 2 shoes' like biden just get taken advantage of by other countries

the people want someone who would not be out of place as a mob lawyer.

someone who would fight dirty on their behalf

thats why they elected trump

he's THEIR dirty scumbag lawyer and they love him for it. ;)

why do you think the guy acts so gross and sees his popularity grow?

how would biden have gone as a convicted rapist facing 34 lawsuits?

what works against goody 2 shoes politicians works in favour of the legitimate guy.

trump freely acts the corrupt politician

as the only politician who is honest about this, he gets the benefit of authenticity and congruence and his foes get the problem of hypocricy.

look at joe, not just pardoning hunter but pardoning his brothers and sisters and neices and nephews on his last day in office.

they are all hypocrites except for the big fella

if trump was caught with lewinsky, he wouldnt have got his wife to try to destroy her

he would have cheekily said, striaght to camera "when youre a star they let you grab them by the pussy"

So Canada saved his reputation in exchange for destroying his reputation for a pause on US tariffs for a month? How does that make sense to your addled, slandering 'mind', despicable liar?

Creepy turd, you are receiving yourself, as always.

Bad faith (French: mauvaise foi) is the psychological phenomenon whereby individuals act inauthentically, by yielding to the external pressures of society to adopt false values and disown their innate freedom as sentient human beings.[1] Bad faith also derives from the related concepts of self-deception and ressentiment.

You LIVE in bad faith, repulsive liar. Deception and resentment are your first and second names.

Canada agreed to strengthen its borders against illegals going into the US.
"Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has caved to President Donald Trump’s demands to crack down on fentanyl trafficking and to reinforce the Canada-U.S. border after threatening retaliatory tariffs in response to Trump’s."

Mexico ALSO backed down:
"Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum agreed to send 10,000 troops to its northern border as one of the ways to stop a 25 percent tariff from the Trump administration temporarily. The concession comes after days of grandstanding by the Mexican president, who publicly claimed she would stand up for her country’s sovereignty."

So you, thicko as mince-o et al can grimace and shittalk all you like, lying creep, the US threat of stuff tariffs worked.
In North America, the US can and does call the shots. Not Boy Trudeau, who has already resigned and whose idiotic policies will mean a guaranteed change of government in Canada , nor Signora Whatshernamebaum whose country depends entirely on US good will.

Trump wanted Mexico and Canada to act on stopping illegal immigration and drug smuggling into the US. He threatened them with 25% tariffs if they do not act.
They are acting, as demanded by the US, so the tariffs are in abeyance while the details are worked out.

What did Trump cave in to, lying creep? What threat made him "back down", what threat was he not prepared to face?

Can you say, you stupid, lying creep? (I hope you don't mind me calling you stupid)

That book is Trump's manifesto.

He is saying that we can all get what we want by making the right deal -
fighting for the right deal.
Trump has gigantic balls and he's in for a fight.

A columnist and sketch writer for the Australian, James Jeffrey, has resigned to join opposition leader Anthony Albanese’s staff as his speech writer.

What did Trump cave in to, ...

Retaliatory tariffs on American goods from Canada and Mexico.

As soon as they threatened to play his game - and introduce tariffs - the rapist backed down.

Canada - 1

Mexico - 1

Rapist - 0

Took Trump under 2 weeks to crash the economy crash 3 planes and to embarrassingly lose trade wars to Canada and Mexico. He tried to deport American Indians and people who voted for him or their family and every time he spoke it was a lie.

A worse start is not possible.

Yeah and someone slipped on a banana peel in New York and that's Trump's fault too.   ::)

In the face of a trade war with America’s neighbors, Trump blinked

An objective view of the bizarre showdown with America’s neighbors suggests a blunt truth: Trump blinked.

The president vowed as recently as last week that there was nothing that Canada or Mexico could do to avoid the tariffs he planned to impose.

But he pulled back on imposing them anyway.

What a pussy   ;D

He'll give in to China too.

The unfair trade deals with Mexico and Canada were both negotiated by Trump in his first term when he tried the same trick.
Yes the weak deals where Canada and Mexico were taking advantage of poor old USA were both Trump's failures.

Amid Trump Tariff Threats, India Cuts Import Duty On American Bikes, Cars In Boost To Harley And Tesla

Feb 02, 2025

New Delhi:
In its Union Budget 2025-26, India has significantly slashed customs duties on high-end motorcycles, cars and smartphone parts, a move that seems to give a boost to American companies like Harley-Davidson, Tesla and Apple, after US President Donald Trump called out New Delhi as a "tremendous tariff maker."

We let's just be clear:

1. Trump gets what he wanted - meaningful action on the borders by the neighbours
2. Suspends - not abandons - the imposition of tariffs for 30 days  while further details are worked out with Canada and Mexico

3. BUT creepy gweggy wants him to impose tarriffs ANYWAY  - which creepy gweggy opposes - otherwise creepy gweggy will gesticulate lyingly, disgustingly for weeks.
