If they are they need some cashflow ... and soon! and I don't mean in the 'privatised' mold, either.

I’ve unfortunately travel enough to spend some time in third world clinics/ hospitals and with the exception of my monkey bite saga ( I hate monkeys now) experience quality care.
For the majority of doctors they were either French or American trained. Some ( not all) were little more than tin sheds but the building rarely effects the quality of work provided by a doctor. The doctors are all fully trained unlike Australia where get someone learning. The prices are reasonable and unlike Australia you can be given a quote and shop around. If you want to hear something I’m sure you will think stupid I should share my concept for Medicare? |

“ A Western Sydney nurse masturbated in front of a dementia patient after turning the lights off and closing the curtains to her private room, a tribunal has heard. Ropes Crossing man Arnold Bulwayan Alunday, 48, was struck from nursing for a minimum of three years on Friday after he was caught masturbating in front of a 70-year-old dementia patient while working at an aged care facility.” “ news.com |

Yes, Australian hospitals are fine.
As long as you don't go in there and catch Covid from the unmasked doctors, nurses and staff who won't wear masks during an ongoing pandemic and the hospitals don't want to pay for them (plus they want everyone to believe Covid is over and masks are a very visible reminder that it isn't). A recent report from Victoria said that 10 percent of patients who caught Covid in hospitals there ended up dying from it... and I assume it would be about the same for all the other States and Territories (except they 'hide' that information from the public these days). So... do you feel lucky (going into hospital these days)? |

I live in the country, our hospital is exceptionally good. I feel for the hospitals having to put up with all the antivaxxer idiots and wanna be American trump supporters clogging up the ED because they injected Hypochlorite

Doctors in Australia will pay more in insurance premiums than most doctors in Thailand and the Phillipines earn. Bureaucracy is the killer in Australia not the hospitals or doctors. |
Title: Re: Are Australian Hospitals first world class? Post by greggerypeccary on Feb 15th, 2025 at 11:47am I've unfortunately had many dealings with Australian (Perth) hospitals over the last three years, and I have very little to complain about. Despite understaffing and huge workloads, my parents both received excellent care in their last years. Sure, the RPH building is a bit crappy, but the staff are wonderful. And yeah, parking is a real nightmare at all the hospitals, but as far as treatment and care goes I was very happy overall. The day before mum died she was told she had to be moved to a hospice, as they needed her bed and plus it would be more peaceful for her in a nice quiet hospice. Mum said she liked all the hustle & bustle of a busy hospital ward and that she would prefer to die in the noisy ward she was in. The hospital obliged and let her stay until she passed away. They made her extremely comfortable in the last 24 hours. It was a crappy room, in a rundown ward, but the care was first class. |

Parking not a problem in my little town!
Good to see your parents were well looked after. If the trump supporters here have their way next in line will die on the footpath. Imagine being so pathetic you tie yourself to another countries dictator as your identity... Good boy Leroy is slowly learning |

After months of planning, committee meetings, endless focus groups and very well paid consultation experts it comes as a very soft opening after all that money wasted/ spent that NSW Health proudly now presented its new LGBTQIA+@-#*€| rainbow Waratah logo!
NSW health proudly showing it working for all of us, unless your a Jew, then our nurses might kill you? https://www.facebook.com/MarkLathamsOutsiders/posts/here-it-is-the-new-rainbow-waratah-logohow-much-did-the-nsw-government-spend-on-/3505938762780771/ |
