Title: Trump lawyer tying himself in knots Post by Armchair_Politician on Feb 13th, 2025 at 12:35pm
One of Trump's lawyers, who he has nominated to be Deputy Attorney General, is seen here in this video tying himself up in knots in a pathetic attempt to not admit to a blatant conflict of interest in his new (still to be confirmed) role as Deputy A-G. It really is painful to watch this guy do everything he can to avoid answering a very simple and straightforward question. Since he was unable or unwilling to do that, here's the answer - it is a blatantly obvious conflict of interest. Will it matter? No, because the Republicans will use their numbers to ensure he is confirmed as per the wishes of their Dear Leader.

Ee-gad, DL's own criminal defence lawyer becoming deputy AG.
He commits to overseeing investigations into matters he worked on and destroying his own DL's criminal evidence. You've gotta have a dream, no? |

Retarded faggotry. No lawyer who has ever had an attorney-client relationship with any elected politician can ever be appointed to any government position because of conflict of interest. By this 'logic', Malcolm Turnbull for example, should never have been a member of parliament, let alone PM because he was Kerry Packers lawyer and so has a lifelong commitment and loyalty to the Packe organisation. Retarded faggotry. |
