Assimilation vs. Multiculturalism may have something to do with it also.

America stresses Assimilation by all that land on her shores intending on making a better life, & becoming citizens of our great American Republic, whereas Multiculturalism, besides being extremely inferior, is considered unsuitable.....undesirable.

Congressional experience - tick.
Counter terrorism executive experience - tick.
National intelligence executive experience - tick.
Department of Defence chief of Staff experience - tick.
