Yes - who can forget the Canberra Meltdown ... the fallout is still destroying brain tissue down there and the streets are filled with zombies......

Now that's an important and unique cultural thing - this making of stone axes.... must've given 'em the advantage over their enemies who were everywhere under their old style of government... Xenophobia is an Aboriginal word, after all..

They use a sandstone rock to sharpen them?  How many years did it take?

This is a put-up, right?

The hysteria and full-blown scare campaign surrounding nuclear power is nothing short of ridiculous. But, it's not surprising, coming from Labor, whose opposition to nuclear is purely based on ideology and not science. I notice Albo mentioned putting in only so-called "renewables", since most of the coal power stations closed in the last 3 or 4 years, rather than replace them with new cleaner coal power stations that actually provide reliable baseload power generation. Albo's actions (and inactions) on power have only lead to power bills going up.

Cost. Delay.

That is what makes nuclear unattractive.

There will be protests with the Greens leading them, but they can be overcome because nuclear is safe—Chernobyl was not inevitable until stupid orders made it so. Waste is a source of cost but eventually can be stored safely, e.g. in Broken Hill mine shafts.

Adding clean nuke to the mix is desirable.

Ironically, coal remains the dirtiest no matter what is done.

are you talking about the coal power stations that for over a decade have been telling you they are past their end of life, asnd the conalition did absoluty nothing about except try to hamstring renewables? those coal power stations? and now labor is supposed to fix everything in a couple of years?

The truth of the matter is that it will take a decade to build up and repair the conalitions sabotage of the energy sector.  You were told under gillard that the longer we wait to do something, the higher the cost of energy and t6he higher the cost of fixing it. The conalition didn't give a poo about energy policy other then using it to funnel funding to it's mining donors for something they were told was at end of life. They had a new energy policy almost every year so no wonder companies didn't invest in the long term. Don't pretend you care now.

As for nuclear, it is far to expensive, and aussies don't want it .... so stop pretending it is the answer
