Hi Agnes. That's what I thought - the thread had dissapeared and I remember him being sick too, as he mentioned before he eventually stopped posting. You were so good to him I remember. I think you made his day sometimes.

Yes sadly Relationships has suffered considerably under Aussie. He never really attends to the actual theme of the Board. I think it would have far more members attending it if you were the Mod again. Looking back on the Board over the years - it really was a golden age under your Modship and it did the Forum good as a whole. I don't think Aussie understands anything about Relationships compared to you.
For one thing, you have a personality, Aussie doesn't. He obviously grabbed it for a power hit, nothing more.
I honestly think FD should just re-instate you as the Mod. You are, in my mind - the Relationship Goddess of OzPolitic.

Just as a curiosity Jasin what is your expectation of a mod, should they promote good subject matter or just ensure that posters stick to the title of the thread and not abuse each other ?

I'd go with the latter as the former you can do without mod privileges.

These types of forum are dying out, they are the domain of dinosaurs, , and i include myself in that category, its a sign of the times, My observation would be don't expect things to get any better around here,  , Just my thoughts

You are probably right to a large degree but it takes a long time for things to die sometimes. I used IRC for many years, I've stopped and not used it in a decade but it still continues. As long as things go the way of the dinosaur by choice rather than dictate, I can live with that.

I used to run a Fidonet BBS before the internet was even a thing outside UNIs. Anyone remember uunet or BBS?

Would really love to mod relationships one more time Jasin but as always its Aussie in the way-  the guy whom really loved to produce that artwork that you speak of- dont know his name or what happened to him- he was pretty sick i think- will try to find out a bit about him.

well well things certainly came to light came to light when i went looking for that guy- so many threads missing in the Tavern which ones i have very little idea atm- but someone has been very very very busy- not only could not not find one picture but could not find a name either= sorry

Stop this crap Agnes.  You abandoned this MRB for a very very long time.  FD called for volunteers.  You did not offer.....I did, and no-one else did.

Cry some more.

Things tend to go in cycles but I get the feeling this wont be included in the next loop. Im more than comfortable to be wrong
