What do we think of friends and relationships we make online...

I personally admire some pple in here and am loathe to upset or hurt anyone feelings- If I do I try to apolagise immediately.

BUT there are some ppl who come onto a forum and think 'what the he-ll, its only a forum full of weirdos, Ill just have a bit of fun with them' This usually means flaming certain pple and saying hurtful things to elicit a response..which ensues in a flaming war.

I dont buy into this theory.

Behind a keyboard is a real person..and the things said to pple online we WOULD NEVER say to theyre faces. This is a cyber world and a lot of pple can be bigger and braver and meaner because anonmyity gives them protection.

..People are people..

No mean comments on this thread please..

I have not set this thread up to begin a flame war IQ..I am trying to diffuse a situation..Its good you feel its worth patricipating in however.

This thread exists so that anyone who is upset with flaming since your arrival can express a veiw or opinion, because it effects them too.

Unfortunately everytime a nasty, foul mouthed poster comes onto a forum to attack, it lowers the whole standard. You are the better person, so don't let coarse, crude insults get to you. Hopefully the moderator of this forum will pick up on it shortly.
