About as far as any Syrian or Iraqi who wants to go.back to.the old country to.catch up.with the rellos could be arrested upon their return. About as far as the penalties for sending money overseas go as high as 30 years max.

No problem for me - I’m sure the Feds won’t whack related Scottish nationalists on their retrospective list of banned countries and aid organizations.

The article is factually incorrect - islam does permit the corporal punishment of wives and gives women half the value of men in law. It also incorrect for these and other reasons in saying that muslim women can embrace both their muslim and australian identity.
Removing Islam from among the causes of muslim women’s problems is a false and unsupportable argument. It is ludicrous, especially from a lawyer.

“the issues faced by catholic women in australia have nuffin to do with christianity.” krayem’s argument is just as specious.
