There you go again, Gandalf. And again.

Ever get the feeling we’ve done this before?

From the racism thread

Well here's a radical idea - keep it in the f_ucking racism thread.  Tongue

It's got nothing to do with the racism thread. It was a continuation of this debate. You used to get upset about people changing the topic. Now you get upset about people trying to keep threads on topic.

Basically, you are trying to avoid talking about your claim that it always has been and always will be about race and white privilege, rather than genuine distaste for Islamic doctrine.

Sorry, FD, wasn’t that your claim?

I’m confused.

Ah, so let me get this straight - after *YOU* bring up this as somehow being about race, when no one else had mentioned it, and refusing to explain why you brought up race, you suddenly don't think it has anything to do with race now?

I get more upset about having multiple threads referencing the same discussion - such that when someone wants to reference that one discussion he has to negotiate through 15 separate threads. If you can learn to start threads a little more constructively - and not just do a massive quote dump with no scope for any constructive discussion that would be a great help.

I have explained all this to you before.

There is one thread about your claim that Islamophobia always has been and always will be about race.

There is one thread about your claim that the vast majority of Australians want to ban mockery and criticism of religion. With this one, I gave you ample opportunity to take the claim back before starting a new thread on it.

Both of these claims were absurd enough, and generate enough interest to justify their own threads. They shed a lot of light on the more ambiguous PR and platitudes you constantly spin. If you don't like threads about the stupid things you say, stop saying stupid things.

Here, FD wants to silence those who say stupid things. FD, you see, believes in Freeeeedom.

And I, for one, would fight to the death for FD's right to shut them all up.

FD seems to think he can be the first to turn a topic into an issue of race, but somehow not be the one responsible for making the topic an issue about race.

But of course. It's your fault.

FD, you see, blames Islam:

Meanwhile, the good Muslims are on here explaining why they cannot tolerate white people having freedom of speech, in case they mock Muhammed.

The "good Muslims". That's you, G.

Yes, that would be when you brought up race when no one else had, and me pointing out that islamophobia always has and always will be about race - because islamophobes continually keep bringing it up - like you did.

Well, there you go. If you pointed out FD's issues with race, you started it. This sort of Muslim racism should not be tolerated in a civilised white society.

No one has the right not to be offended, you know.

Grin And that literally is what FD's whinge amounts to. Its also my fault that after being the first to turn the issue into an issue of race, he then starts a whole new thread whinging about how people make islamophobia an issue about race.

Shaun McCallife couldn't satirise this better.

Catholics are the ones that support abortion, right?

That's right, Matty. Your life-long Catholic mother has every right to worship on Satan's alter.

I, for one, would fight to the death for her right to do so.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
