Good to see Jesus and Mo on the same page, old boy - even if they are still sitting around talking.

Pluralism, innit.

Just to help keep track of the discussion, Gandalf has moved the discussion about Islam and freedom of speech to this thread:

http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1439514326/103#103

His intention was, of course, to completely ignore it - after he made the same silly arguments he made several times in this thread and demanded I not respond to them individually.

If you have an overall point you want to make I'm all ears FD. But based on your last reply in the extremism thread, its a fair bet that you'll just ask questions that were already answered - very directly. Which is not surprising when you are so preoccupied with slicing up a reply into isolated and therefore meaningless sentences, that you completely miss the overall point.

You are a serial offender of shifting threads around. I have previously tried to go over old discussions and the amount of 'thread jumping' that went on was beyond a joke - and it goes without saying that attempts to follow a discussion all the way through was near impossible. But here's a radical idea: how about next time you ask me about something that is more relevant in another thread, you ask me in that thread?

Nothing too specific then eh?

You are the one who brought it up in the other thread Gandalf. You then expanded it to a very lengthy post, apparently to change the topic. Once it was obvious you were sticking to the freedom of speech tangent, I thought it more appropriate to continue here.
