I think someone needs sexing up.

Nothing like getting down to some basic mechanics to sort out the reality from the fantasy.

Anyone remember the Lady Di joke about "Your little Pinky"???

Maybe it wasn't love, but she would always goofy smile at me and buy me chocolates for no reason then turn up at work on her day off, have me paged, then do the goofy smile, eyes light up and not be capable of a decent conversation, so she would give me more chocolates. I assumed she was in love.

Certainly sounds like she was interested in you.
Did you reciprocate?

And of course nothing developed...

BTW not everyone in love has had sex, some abstain.  After all... love is NOT sex.

You are right love is not sex, otherwise best mates would be having sex all the time, parents and children, you know. Love does not have to be a sexual thing. I think you know it is love when the sexual desire is not for yourself, but rather to get the object of your affection to experience the feelings you yourself would usually chase.

It was a very strange situation. I don't know what popped it back in to my head after all this time.

I'm generalising here, but I think overall males would have to be more romantic than females.  Of course there are plenty of women who do make "googly eyes" at the object of their affection and are romantic, but basically females are more focussed on the practical side of the relationship.

As far this statement goes -

Quote:
I think you know it is love when the sexual desire is not for yourself, but rather to get the object of your affection to experience the feelings you yourself would usually chase.

Sorry - I don't get it Easel. It sounds as though you are trying to get the object of your affection to meet your will.

That has been my personal experience with most males I've known neferti although I will admit I haven't had the same vast experience with the general male population you've had.   Grin

It would be interesting to hear some male views on this?

The musical? I got it.

I am romantic. At least I think so. It really depends on the girl though, some girls you know wouldn't appreciate it, others love it and can't get enough.
