FD, is there a way for this post search limit to be increased.

Also what is the possibility for a spellcheck tool?

Cheers

I'll check with the YaBB people. I don't think a spell checker is going to happen. Use MS a word processor to compile your post if you want that. I could probably increase the search limit with some code alterations, however we have been having trouble with high loads on the server, which may rule it out.

I can usually figure out how to refine a search so the limit isn't an issue. Are you using this page to search from?

No but I will. Good point though. I have not been refining my searches as much as I could have. Thanks.

If I find a bunch of threads on the same topic, I will often post all the links into the most recent thread. I can also splice threads together if you want.

There seems to be a spell check built in to YaBB already. Don't you see the red underlined words when you type? Maybe it comes from Microsoft Office.

The much anticipated release of YaBB, version 2.3, is here!  This is one of the biggest and best updates to the YaBB 2 line.  Several new and long overdue features have been added – you’ll recognize them as the most popular BoardMod modifications for YaBB.  Overall, 16 large features have been added.  On top of that, dozens of bugs, layout issues, spelling errors, and documentation deficiencies have been corrected!

Looks interesting. Unfortunately upgrading is a huge pain the arse. It took me a long time to get everything sorted out after the last upgrade, and I still haven't added back in lost features, such as the customised member profiles pages where you could write stuff or add pictures. Maybe if I get spare time over Christmas I'll do an upgrade, but don't hold your breath.

Hopefully the member home pages is now a default feature with 2.3. It would also be good to have a recent topics list that has the same format as a board.
