Let ye not judge lest ye be judged.

Something like that anyway.

I just have an opinion. Everyone has an opinion. I am often wrong. Only God knows everything. I had a kid at primary school say to me once, "I thought you knew everything." to which I said "Only God knows everything."

He kind of wouldn't talk to me after that.

I didn't realise he liked me though, he just put blind faith in me and it didn't mesh with me.

I really need to get this story out. Give me time.

I am from a foreign government. This is not a joke. I am authorised to investigate state and federal bodies including ASIO.

Take your time bloke. Get it out.

Spiritual journeys are full of rocks, bends, deadends, tigertraps and occasionally moments of clearity. Those moments are valuable to us because they are rare. The moments when you realise you are the world to someone yet so small in the universe. It's OK to be a little scared, it's OK not to be happy 100% of the time. AND most importantly it's OK TO BE REALLY HAPPY.

Everytime I see my 5 month old in the morning or after work and he lights up, partly as a learned response, partly because it is biologically efficient, partly because he likes me. I am constantly reminded of the quote "How glorious the mountain greets the morning sun" and how much I would give to greet my father again.

I find the Buddhist/Pythagoran concept of one universial Soul (for want of a better word (NOT GOD)) interesting and in many ways beautiful, but of course the western trained EGO struggles with disinterest. Death haunts me but more for the people I believe I will never encounter again. I can understand the comfort in believing in God, I just don't understand the belief.

There is a song by Peter Gabriel "Don't Give Up" it has helped me through dark times. And read, read, read. You are not alone. Ignorance murdered even the great Socrates.

Easel,

If you run, go for a run. Go for a long walk or a swim. Things always seem better after that. Keep yourself busy, and never accept magazines from strange men in formal clothes who knock on your door.

Good advise Helian. Especially the swimming. It's nice to lie on your back and just float.

Jammed thoughts? You need a little David Bryne...

It may not cure what ails yer,
but it'll sure give you ideas about turning mashed thought into cash.

I . . . who took the money?
Who took the money away?
I . . . it’s always showtime
Here at the edge of the stage
I, I, I, wake up and wonder,
What was the place, what was the name?
We wanna wait, but here we go again...

I . . . takes over slowly
But doesn’t last very long
I . . . no need to worry
Everything’s under control
O - u - t but no hard feelings
What do you know? Take you away,
We’re being taken for a ride again...
