You can find plenty of Islamic glossaries online already. Perhaps we can create a sticky thread, if you think it's going to be useful/necessary.

Just a few corrections so far.

Adab means manners.

Dhimmi means protected person, doesn't mean Jews and Christians. If it's a lexicon, it should present the meanings, and then perhaps an explanation of who is covered by the meaning, if that's necessary.

Dhimmitude is a phantom word, has no Arabic equivalent, and no meaning whatsoever, other than some lame propagandist attempt to paint Islam in a certain light.

Quote:
pbuh - peace be upon him - usually uttered after reference to prominent Islamic figures

It's uttered after the names of Prophets alone, generally.

You are welcome to copy it into a sticky thread. I just used the wiki because i expected to be editing it a lot.

Sorry, what is the correct word that we should use instead of Dhimmitude?

Quote:
and no meaning whatsoever

It has meaning. We have been using it on this board for quite some time, and no-one has indicated any confusion as to it's meaning.

There is no acceptable term, because the whole concept of "dhimmitude" is a fallacy propagated by those who seek to attack Islam only.

So Dhimmitude doesn't exist?

What about protection? Is that an 'Islamically correct' term? Would it suit you if we could only refer to this exploitative relationship as protection?

Abu is it true that Muslims use different words to describe the same actions committed by Muslims and non-Muslims?

TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH.....

This word, has no Arabic equivalent, and no meaning whatsoever, THEREFORE IT DOES NOT EXIST WITHIN A ISLAMIC 'UNIVERSE'.

i.e. All words which illuminate the TRUTH about ISLAM,  which reveal a TRUTH which muslims would rather hide,
'do not exist'
,
.....SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM, AS YOU WILL ONLY ADD TO THE 'CONFUSION' WHICH WE ARE TRYING TO AVOID.
