Wasn't there not long ago some Australian Labor Party leader who had one ball too?
Does it have to do something with socialist ideology as both Hitler and the ALP leader were socialists?

ROTFLMAO  Grin

Yes. I forgot. Hitler was a socialist too. That's why he founded the National Socialist Workers' Party of Germany.

Damn lefty.

Wait - I know you want more! Did I mention the inbreeding in Hitler's birthplace ? Hitler's father, Alois, was either the second cousin or the uncle of his mother, Klara. Hitler was so concerned that people might find out about his inbred background and Jewish heritage that when he annexed Austria in 1938, he ordered that his family's ancestral village, Dollersheim, and all neighbouring villages be destroyed and made into an army training ground.

Villages around Branau were infamous for their inbreeding. One of his cousins was born hideously deformed for that reason.

A day of mourning too.

what cause hitler died on that day?

good riddance

What's your beef with Hitler, Gaybriel? (Serious question)

his slaughter of millions of innocent people, his war mongering, his personal beliefs etc etc

why - do you admire or dislike him?

So what if he slaughtered millions? How does it affect you personally? Why did it draw such a strong response from you? Why did you feel that you needed to shoot down Phil for his opinion? Why does everyone feel the need to isolate Hitler as the 'embodiment of all evil?' What makes you think that Hitler was the sole reason WWII started? What makes you think he 'slaughtered millions?'

Quite frankly, I admire him more than I dislike him. I think he was easily a very admirable human. There's many reasons I think that, but not what immediately springs to your mind (Ie. He only likes him because of his wacist policies).

"racist" not wascist... Roll Eyes

Hitler was a small man with tinymeat syndrome..'He had to start a war and slaughter a few milion pple to enable him to forget his syndrome..it would have been a lot less desructive if he just bought a really fast red sports car and a penis enlarger pump.

DT I think history books pretty well have him pegged as the one who started the war and killed over 6 million pple...its been kind of done to death dont you think.? You cant rewrite history sorry.

He is right up there with George Bush and Benson and Hedges.

Napolean Bonaparte was one of my favourite war mongers actually.

Thanks Oceanz. I needed a bit of a laugh.   Grin

Did you also know Hitler sold poison milk to children?

Sounds unlikely. Mostly he just gassed them using hydrogen cyanide (Zyklon-B), or at least his henchmen did.

While I certainly abhor all violence, and hitler was right up their in the despot stakes, he was not all bad, and his ideas weren't all wrong.

If the nazis had won the war, we would hear about the allies civilian bombing atrocities, in similiar style to what we hear about the holocaust, the winner gets to write the history, it has always been that way.

In hitler's defence, when he came to power, ordinary germans were starving to death, which he blamed on the jews, due to the financial market crash, so his bigotry was justifiable, in his own mind. Of course I disagree, but it does show us something other than just a mad racist.

He also had Stalin as a neighbour, the soviets, under Stalin, were a pretty scary bunch, and I could see some justification for wanting buffer zones between germany and russia.

So while none of this excuses or condones his atrocities, or validates his hideous genocidal violence, it does show that things are rarely as simple as people would try to portray them.

Dont forget the horrific human experiments he conducted on children..

I guess with a spyhllitic brain that was also riddled with ice/meth addiction and random acts of sodomy etc..could be he was not entirely responsible for his actions.  Roll Eyes

Some pages go into to gruesome graphic detail of Hitlers cruelty..the following is far more subdued.

Yes, I know. Hitler is a very, very naughty man. I've heard of that story too and the infamous ZYKLON-T. Because of course, everyone knows that Hitler gave all 10 million Jewish children ZYKLON-Q gas personally, on an individual basis. I've heard Hitler also let out a maniacal laugh as he did it.

Furthermore, I'm not sure if you know this, Muso, but according to popular belief and strong evidence, Hitler cleverly built a house made out of gingerbread just after the outbreak of WWII.  He could then lure unsuspecting children inside so that he could cook and eat them.

It is believed Hitler's gingerbread house of hell, according to numerous highly respected historians, looked something like the reconstructed model below.
...
Picture A: Hitler's gingerbread house of hell

It is unknown what became of the house, but it is believed it was burned to the ground during allied bombing in January 1945.

Thankfully, the famous and highly accomplished author, Katz Weisel, will release a book early next year titled, 'Hitler's gingerbread house of hell: EXPOSED,' detailing and revealing all the hidden secrets  behind Hitler's little known hobby of luring kids into gingerbread houses.

As a bonus feature in Weisel's work, a short story is included explaining the benefits of multiculturalism and the myths surrounding the notion of 'race.' In this section of the book, special comments are made by founder of the Australian political website ozpolitic, known as freediver, "every TV show I've ever watched says that race is a myth. How can you argue with that?"

Mozzaok, I think I speak on behalf of all the posters that well-reasoned arguments, accompanied by honest assessments have no place on Hitler threads.  Angry

Except it wouldn't be 'the Allies', it would be 'the Jews' who were pulling all the strings behind the scenes. And you wouldn't be able to question the dominant interpretation of history without risking being sent off to the glue factory. There certainly wouldn't be many Jews around to offer an alternative point of view. It kinds of puts it in perspective when certain people complain about political correctness and not being able to make racist rants without others sniggering in the background and not offering them the respect they deserve.

Nice imagination you have there, FD.

Now tell us the outcome of the American Civil War if the Confederates  won.

Well for starters, they wouldn't have gotten rid of slavery quite so quickly.

Perhaps you'd like to offer an alternative vision of what it would be like if the Axis powers had won WWII.

Nah, I'm not quite into 'what may have beens.'

Tends to make the person doing it look foolish.
