What makes a woman or man angry?

There was an opinion piece in the Telegraph today on what makes a woman furious. Apparently Julie Bishop gave Julia Gillard a "cat" sign the other day in Parliament where she clawed her fingers and murmured a quiet "rowr". Gillard didn't react - but why would she to something as pathetic as this? The writer of this article believes that this sort of symbolic gesture is the worst thing one woman can do to another, although I can think of far worse.

Condescension is probably the most infuriating behaviour one woman can inflict on another - and next on the list would probably be running off with your partner.

Another infuriating behaviour - usually inflicted by males on females is either wrongfully accusing them of a certain behaviour or dismissing their opinion as inconsequential.

Men on the other hand appear to get angry when they're belittled, rejected or their opinion is brushed off as too rare to be considered seriously.

That's how Julie Bishop explained the cat-like gesture she made to Julia Gillard on Monday that attracted so much attention.

The Opposition treasury spokeswoman, facing attack on several fronts, bared her "claws" at the Deputy Prime Minister during an angry clash between the two most senior women in parliament.

Ms Bishop defended her parliamentary behaviour, saying it was her way of getting "the girls" to put their claws away. "

It looked very unprofessional and yes I think she is under a bit of strain lately...

I dont see Julia as being this kind of bitchy so Id be surprised if Julia ever had her claws out to begin with.

Good shot of a viper Oceanz. I don't think she won any applause from the others in her party and you can understand why.

She's a nasty piece of work and the photo captures her true nature perfectly.

Julia Gillard is too intelligent to take this witch seriously. It's a wonder she didn't laugh at her - I bet plenty of others did.

Ive never liked this horrible woman..the eyes don't have it in her case..stupid cross eyes.

I find people who have weird stupid looking eyes tend to be just that way.

Her snappy dress sense can't make up for her nasty personality.

me niether gaybriel..

Nasty pple who are nasty just for the sake it make me mad..not initially but when I've had time to think about their total lack of awareness of how they effect others and dont care....this makes me mad.

Im not sure exactly what makes men mad...but probably much the same as us ?

I'm trying whether to work out whether this is about Bishop's behaviour or you genuinely want to know makes someone angry.

For now I will go with Bishop and unfortunately her very look is unappealing, not that she's ugly or anything as she is capable of dazzling you when done right but her basic look is a stern headmistress.

This is not going to win you any votes and as long as she is a deputy leader of the liberals, I think they're likely to shed votes.

Not something I would change my vote over - looks - but I'm sure we all know people that would.

So women should just take the 'half' pay they are entitled to.

As horrible as that picture is, she's still a damn site classier than the bogan red head.
