Is this part of private school education?

If it works you'll see how much students are learning at a huge cost! MMMMM, thank god our taxes are going to a 'good' cause.

This is from a whiteboard at a catholic private yrs7-12 high school in Canberra.

The link is not active, but you can cut and paste it into an address bar in a new tab, if you want to?

It is just silly racist, xenophobic, and homophobic musings of adolescent dills.

This sort of thing has been going on forever, and is merely the new generation expounding the attitudes they have learned from family and friends.

It is getting a little better with each new generation, we can best deal with it by trying to provide good living examples with our own behaviour.

This could have been found on any blackboard, in any school, regardless of whether it was public or private.

Wouldn't have expected any different from teen males let loose of a white board.

No different to chatter behind the bike sheds back in the day.

Racism is not a joke and the word 'wog' is no joke.

I grew up with a generation of people who thought it was ok to abuse people and use insulting words for being of another background. I believed things had improved. Obviously not.

Would be a different thing if derogatory words were written up about indigenous people.

double standards. And catholic schools are famous for double standards.

Sure, any kid from any school can behave badly but at least they don't profess to be 'better' like the 'private school' kids and don't present a certain false image.

maybe sc went to a private school!

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

You sound like one of them experts Bliss.

Can you tell me this; would you advocate for having aborignal words translated to English for the purposes of deleting racism in schools? And do you think it normal for other ancient cultures to empower themselves with multilingualism, whilst the aborigine wants only minimalist english in his voice? If so, what purpose is served by serving the aborigine?

Do you advocate for double standards by preserving the old aborigine, whilst at the same time demanding that people who come to our country of their own choosing, get proper English taught to them?

Is their something wrong with private schools saying they produce better students?

Please explain, Bliss.
