environment discussion is a sham
Feb 15th, 2009 at 10:32am

If you think that so called environmentalists care about environment think twice before believing them.
They tell lies and when confronted with facts are trying their hardest to shut up their opponents by coming up with flimsy excuses to delete the opponents posts and/ or locking/deleting the whole threads.

In reality they only care about redirecting flow of public money to support their ideology and creating well paid jobs for themselves out of taxpayer's pocket.

Well, since it is here where environmental concerns belong let me ask a question about Icelandic volcano eruption. How does its environmental effects compare with effects of human activities?

Concern for society and nature are important and excellent qualities. Because of their importance, there are many charlatans who are strutting the stage pretending to be partisans of these cares.  Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, many of the 'bolshevics' of the spirit have sought refuge in the 'environmental movement'. Their aim of societal make-over is now channeled through the seemingly non-partisan regiter of 'environmental conservation'. Yet for many of these peopel societal conservation is anathema. In other words, for them conservationism is both good (four legs) and bad (two legs).

It is interesting to note the deafening silence of human fault proponents about Icelandic volcano influence on climate changes.

No discernable effect, Tallowood. It's tiny in comparison to Mt Pinatubo, which released 15-30 million tonnes of sulphur dioxide.

Here's a write-up:

- and a very nice picture showing the Aurora Borealis and Mt Eyjafjallajökull.

No. It will probably have eruptions way into the future. It's an active volcano after all, but will it cause a slight blip on the temperature record like Pinatubo in the next decade? Unlikely.

I didn't know that Mt Pinatubo was a human fault as well thanks for the enlightenment and the insight into inner workings of environmentalist mind, and a very nice picture showing the Aurora Borealis and Mt Eyjafjallajökull. Smiley

Say what?    Did I say it was a human fault? It's the SO2 that causes the temporary cooling effect - that's all. I was just comparing Eyjafjallajökull to Mt Pinatubo in terms of magnitude.  The former blasted ash up to 3km high. The latter 34 km high.

She has broken free and has been working for Viscount Monckton of Brenchley.
Sensible girl.
