Please advise on the suitability of the following words that, due to no fault of their own, include the offending phoneme:
dogerel, dogma, dogmatic, doge, dogeared (book), guide dog association (bad?), bitch, puppy, great dane(!), woof-woof, etc. Also, can one laugh at mistaken references to canines (can I say that?) : " 'Is there a dog' asked the dyslexic atheist." Is this kosher?

Seriously (well, half-seriously), I thouht actual contact with dogs was haram, not the idea of dogs.
