muslims stay 2000 years behind

Quote:
AN Iranian court has ruled that a man must lose an eye and an ear after he blinded another man and burnt his ear in an acid attack.
Judge Aziz Mohammadi gave the order against the man, who was only identified as Hamid, after convicting him of the throwing acid on the victim, named as Davoud, said the hardline Kayhan newspaper.

The judge also ordered Hamid to pay blood-money for the burn injuries suffered by Davoud, in a ruling issued under the Islamic republic's eye-for-an-eye justice code.

Hamid told the court he had mistaken Davoud for a classmate who had bullied him in high school, said Shargh newspaper.

The reports did not say whether the authorities would carry out the punishment by using acid.

Several acid attacks have been reported in Iran in the past few years.........

Personally I've never come across a single Muslim who thinks it's permissible/acceptable. So never had a chance to have stern words to them. But of course I would if I were to come across such an imbecile.

You are just completely misguided for accepting the ridiculous notion that Muslims/Islam supposedly condone this. You speak from njothing but ignorance and hatred.......

Oh dear abu, perhaps you should read the posts you make, and topics you subscribe to on aussiemuslims.com.. Only a handful of self professed muslims on that extremist/racist site have had the decency to condone acts of terrorism against the west only to be accused of being infidel lovers themselves. Moderates are being bullied by extremists if they try to show solidarity with non muslims. Go back, take a look at the posts and 'have a stern word' with your fellow tolerant muslims.
Just accept that islam is a hate filled ideaology that reeks of hypocrisy. When confronted with cold hard facts that catch you and your faith red handed, all you can do is point fingers elsewhere and say stuff like''what about them, or this...'. Your 'true religion' is not accountable.
Little wonder you are becoming more despised by the mainstream.

HC you are quite right. I am sickened by what I read on those boards

I was reprimanded for nothing virutally. I wrote to them and told the they were being  a bit touchy and that they needed to check what their Mulsims posters were posting before criticising anyone else. !!

Since then they haven't bothered me  !!

Without jew-hatred there would be no Islam. Islam is predicated on Mohammed being ridiculed by the jews as a crazy meshuggeh. Never got over it and founded the Muslim supremacist ideology on it. Islam is instutionalised, sanctified resentment of the Jews. There is no Islam without resentment and the jews are its eternal focus.

The Muslim end-times are about eliminating the jews. The tree will tell the jihadi if a jew is hiding behind it - remember? Jew-killing is your sacred duty under Islam, Israel or no Israel.

Quote:
Vacate our homes and go back to Lithuania and Poland, and I'm sure you'll see the word Jew drop from the Muslim vocabulary.

As if. The islamonazis fielded a whole SS batallion during WWII. What was that about? Absent-mindedness? The head mufti of Jerusalem was broadcasting jew-hatred from Berlin 'Dropping the word jew'? More like spewing it without end.

how high a profile does the west ned to say "muslims hate the west"

LONDON: The brother of a Harry Potter star has been jailed for six months for a "prolonged and nasty" attack in which the actress was beaten and branded a "slag" for dating a non-Muslim.

Afshan Azad, 21, who played Padma Patil, a classmate of the teenage wizard in the blockbuster Hollywood films based on J. K. Rowling's children's books, feared for her life during the three-hour ordeal, Manchester Crown Court heard.

She was punched, dragged around by her hair and strangled by her brother Ashraf Azad, 28, who threatened to kill her after he caught her talking on the phone to her Hindu boyfriend on May 21 last year, the court was told.

Advertisement: Story continues below During the row at the family home in Longsight, Manchester, which also involved her mother and father, she was branded a "slag" and a "prostitute" and told: "Marry a Muslim or you die!"

The actress, who now lives in London, had pleaded for leniency from the court, begging the judge not to jail her older brother.

But Judge Roger Thomas, QC, sent him to prison for six months after he pleaded guilty to the assault.

"This is a sentence that is designed to punish you for what you did and also to send out a clear message to others that domestic violence involving circumstances such as have arisen here cannot be tolerated," Judge Thomas said.

The assault left Miss Azad with swelling, grazes and bruises around her eyes, face, left ear, forehead and forearms.

Both her father and brother were originally charged with making threats to kill her, and her brother was also charged with assault.

At a hearing last month the prosecution agreed to accept a plea of guilty to assault from her brother, and both men were found not guilty of making threats to kill.

Her father received a 12-month bond of £500 ($805).

More oppression by islam

Quote:
IRANIAN courts have sentenced two people to death for running porn sites, prosecutor-general Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi has been quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying.

"Two administrators of porn sites have been sentenced to death in two different (court) branches and (the verdicts) have been sent to the supreme court for confirmation," Dolatabadi said, without naming the two convicts.

Last December, Canada expressed concern over the reported death sentence handed down to an Iranian-born Canadian resident for allegedly designing an adult website.

Saeed Malekpour, 35, was convicted of "designing and moderating adult content websites", "agitation against the regime" in Tehran, and "insulting the sanctity of Islam," according to an online campaign calling for his release.

Malekpour was detained in the Islamic republic after returning in 2008 to visit his ailing father. He was sentenced to death in December.

The Netherlands froze contacts with Tehran after Saturday's hanging of an Iranian-Dutch woman for drug smuggling, having initially been arrested for taking part in anti-government protests.

Iran, China, Saudi Arabia and the US have the highest numbers of executions each year.

Adultery, murder, drug trafficking and other major crimes are all punishable by death in the Islamic republic.

life death in islam

Quote:
IRANIAN authorities have unleashed an "execution binge".

The average rate of execution is one person hanged every eight hours since the beginning of the year, a rights group monitoring the Islamic republic says.

"The Iranian judiciary is on an execution binge orchestrated by the intelligence and security agencies," Aaron Rhodes, a spokesman for the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran, said yesterday.

A statement by the New York-based group said at least 47 prisoners had been hanged since January 1, including a reported Kurdish activist accused of fighting against the state. Other jailed Kurds risk execution for alleged links to a group battling for greater rights for Iran's Kurdish minority. Most of the others executed were convicted of violent crimes such as murder.

The group said the actual number of people put to death this year could be higher because Iranian authorities may not make public all executions.

Rights groups and media reports say at least 179 people were executed in Iran last year.

Thousands of inmates are on death row, but Iran's judiciary has come under intense international pressure over the case of a woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery.

Judiciary officials are reviewing the sentence against Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, but have given no clear signals on whether it could be commuted.

Ms Ashtiani was convicted of adultery in 2006 after the murder of her husband and sentenced to death by stoning. The sentence has been suspended and is under review. She was later convicted of being an accessory to the murder and sentenced to 10 years' jail.

no compassion under islam

Quote:
THE lawyer for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani has revealed how his client was abused, beaten and sold for sex by her drug-addicted husband.

Mohammed Mostafaei said he was speaking out to save her life because the regime, forced by international pressure to suspend her stoning, was seeking to justify her execution by portraying her as a woman who murdered her husband so that she could live with her lover.

"I believe my client is now in a very dangerous situation . . . It's my duty to speak on her behalf," Mr Mostafaei said from Norway, where he has lived since fleeing Iran in July to escape arrest for publicising Ms Ashtiani's case. "I can't stay silent."

Press TV, the Iranian regime's English-language overseas mouthpiece, last week broadcast a "documentary" for which Ms Ashtiani was taken to her home to re-enact the murder of her husband.

Mr Mostafaei said she was coerced to appear, and that the program was designed to vilify her. He fears she faces imminent execution. "Just before they want to execute someone they put them on state TV to talk about their crime and condemn themselves," he said.

Disregarding client confidentiality, Mr Mostafaei recounted what Ms Ashtiani told him when they met in Tabriz prison last December. She said she came from a poor family in the town of Osku and that her father had forced her to marry an older man, Ebrahim Ghaderzade. "From the beginning he was very brutal towards her," Mr Mostafaei said.

Ms Ashtiani bore two children, hoping they would temper her husband's behaviour, but it became worse. He abused her physically and verbally and denied her permission to visit relatives. When she begged for a divorce, he denied her that, too.

Ms Ashtiani told the lawyer her husband had become an opium addict and proposed that she have sex with other men to pay for the drug. In 2004, a man raped her in her home with her husband's approval. "When she told me about that she was sobbing," said Mr Mostafaei.

Ms Ashtiani had no sanctuary because of Iran's legal bias against women and the stigma of rape, but she had one source of comfort -- an unmarried relative of her husband named Isa Taheri.

Mr Mostafaei said Taheri exploited the situation, offering kindness and sympathy to win her affection. When her husband banned him from the house, Taheri told Ms Ashtiani that he wanted to kill him.

She resisted but he insisted, saying that all she had to do was give her husband an injection to render him unconscious.

That is apparently what happened on September 14, 2005, while Ms Ashtiani's children were away. Taheri then electrocuted her unconscious husband.

Ms Ashtiani reported his death as a suicide, but she and Taheri were arrested.

Mr Mostafaei said Ms Ashtiani was a simple woman who had suffered greatly and was easily manipulated. Taheri was the driving force and actually committed the murder, but such is the barbarity of Iran's legal system that she faces execution while he is free. Taheri was convicted of murder, but her children -- the victim's closest relatives -- exercised their right to spare his life because they knew how their father had behaved. Taheri was freed from prison after a few years.

Ms Ashtiani was convicted of complicity and jailed for 10 years. She was also convicted of having illicit relations, for which she received 99 lashes, and later adultery, for which she was sentenced to death by stoning. Taheri, being unmarried, was only lashed.

Mr Mostafaei said Iran's courts and state-controlled media had ignored the extreme mitigating circumstances. He said the regime had revived the murder charge to justify her execution, despite her being tried for her husband's death five years ago.

Mr Mostafaei met Ms Ashtiani only once before he fled Iran and left his notes of the meeting in Tehran. With Ms Ashtiani's son and second lawyer in prison, his story could not be corroborated, but his answer to doubters is simple: the regime should release all the judicial files on the case and allow Ms Ashtiani to speak freely.

A US woman who used the alias "Jihad Jane" changed her plea to guilty on charges she plotted to recruit jihadist fighters and conspired to murder a Swedish resident.

Colleen LaRose, also known as Fatima LaRose, of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty in a federal court in Philadelphia. She was charged in an indictment last year with conspiring to provide support to terrorists and commit murder in a foreign country, and making false statements. She initially pleaded not guilty in March.

LaRose, who was arrested in October 2009, worked with five unidentified and unindicted co-conspirators to recruit men and women on the internet, solicited funds for terrorists and tried to avoid travel restrictions to wage a "violent Jihad", prosecutors said last year.

Advertisement: Story continues below Prosecutors said LaRose travelled to Europe in August 2009 after receiving an order to kill a Swedish citizen. She was allegedly tied to a group plotting to kill Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, who drew a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad with a dog's body in 2007, the New York Times reported in March.

LaRose, 47, faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

A second US woman tied to the alleged plot pleaded not guilty in April to one count of conspiracy. Jamie Paulin Ramirez, a former Colorado resident, allegedly accepted an invitation from LaRose to attend a "training camp" in Europe in 2009, prosecutors said.

Ramirez is scheduled to go on trial in May.

muslims.
any comments abu ??

Quote:
The Pakistan-born founder of a Muslim-oriented New York television station has been convicted of beheading his wife in 2009 in the studio the couple had opened to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims after the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Muzzammil "Mo" Hassan did not deny that he killed Aasiya Hassan inside the station that the couple established in suburban Buffalo to promote cultural understanding.

A jury on Monday rejected his claim he was the victim of spousal abuse.

Hassan acted as his own lawyer during the trial
. In court, he said nothing when the verdict was read. His reaction was blocked from view by a line of sheriff's deputies and court officers.

Hassan had been served with divorce papers a week before his wife's body was found stabbed and decapitated at the offices of Bridges TV in Orchard Park, where the couple also lived.

Hassan was arrested after walking into the Orchard Park police station on February 12, 2009, and calmly telling officers his wife was dead.

Police said officers had previously responded to domestic incidents involving the couple.

The Hassans had two children, then aged four and six, who were outside in a van when Hassan spoke to police.

After the killing, the children were sent to live with his wife's mother in Pakistan, his lawyers have said.

Hassan also had two teenagers from a previous marriage.

The Hassans started the Bridges TV network in 2004, saying they wanted to counter negative stereotypes and media portrayals of Muslims in a post-September 11 world and provide programming for the growing Muslim-American population. Bridges TV continues to broadcast.

In the months leading up to his trial, Hassan had explored various versions of a psychiatric defence with different lawyers, who said they would pursue an acquittal by showing the killing was justified.

From the start, they dismissed suggestions that culture played a role in the crime.

Immediately after his wife's death, the manner in which she died prompted speculation her death was an honour killing.

The practice is still accepted among some fanatical Muslim men, including in the couple's native Pakistan, who feel betrayed by their wives.

Hassan fired three of his lawyers and then replaced a fourth with himself. He kept the fourth lawyer as an adviser, as required by law.

He faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on March 9.

Iran tells Turkey: change tack or face trouble
October 8, 2011
By Robin Pomeroy

TEHRAN (Reuters) - A key aide to Iran's supreme leader said on Saturday Turkey must radically rethink its policies on Syria, the NATO missile shield and promoting Muslim secularism in the Arab world -- or face trouble from its own people and neighbors.

In an interview with the semi-official Mehr news agency, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's military adviser described Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's invitation to Arab countries to adopt Turkish-style democracy as "unexpected and unimaginable."

Turkey and Iran, the Middle East's two major non-Arab Muslim states, are vying for influence in the Arab world as it goes through the biggest shake-up since the Ottoman Empire fell, a rivalry that has strained their previously close relations.

http://blogs.reuters.com/robin-pomeroy/

The sunni/shia civil war in action. The current troubles of terrorism around the world are due to the perennian internal islamic civil war. In the age of globalisation Muslims have been successful in involving the entire world in their endless murderous internal squabbles.

as well as soren has shown, muslims koran invoked violence occurs on the family front, as well as the international

Quote:
A father accused of the "honour killings" of four family members - including his three teenage daughters - was recorded on police wiretaps saying he was "happy" they were dead and that he would "do the same again", a Canadian court has heard.

Mohammad Shafia, 58, his second wife Tooba Mahommad Yahya, 41, and their son Hamed, 20, are on trial for the first-degree murder of Zainab Shafia, 19, Sahar Shafia, 17, Geeti Shafia, 13, and his first wife Rona Amir Mohammad, 50, in 2009.

Prosecutors told the Ontario court their deaths were "honour killings" committed to remove the perceived shame the women brought on their family, such as by having boyfriends. They were arrested after a car was discovered submerged in a canal lock near Kingston in June 2009, with the bodies of the four family members in it. A post-mortem examination indicated they died of drowning.

The Shafia family had lived in Australia, Pakistan and Dubai before moving to Ontario in 2007.

"I say to myself, 'You did well.' Would they come back to life a hundred times for you to do the same again?" Mohammad Shafia was recorded as saying to Yahya after she appeared to express some remorse about the deaths of the two younger girls a few days after they drowned.

"No, Tooba, they were treacherous," he said, the Vancouver Sun reported.

"They were treacherous. They betrayed both themselves and us. Like this woman standing on the side of the road and if you stop the car, she would go with you anywhere. ... They're gone now; poo on their graves."

He added the next day: "I am happy and my conscience is clear. ... They haven't done good and God punished them," the Montreal Gazette reported.

In other recordings, Mohammad Shafia told Yahya and Hamed to remain strong and that "there is nothing more valuable than our honour", the Gazette said.

"I am telling your mother that be like a man as you have always been. I know it hurts … don't worry at all, don't regret," he said, adding, "there is no value of life without honour".

The court heard that Mohammad Shafia married Yahya as Rona Amir Mohammad was unable to bear children. The trio lived in a polygamous relationship, The Canadian Press reported.

The court also heard the eldest daughter, Zainab, had run away from home for a few weeks and the two other girls contacted officials appealing to be removed from their home because of domestic violence.

If convicted, the trio face a maximum sentence of life in prison.

There have been 13 such killings in Canada since 2002, said Amin Muhammed, a psychiatry professor at Memorial University in Saint John's, Newfoundland.

On the morning of the deaths, a car was found underwater at the upper lock at Kingston Mills with the four bodies inside.

The accused immediately went to police to report them missing and said the family stopped at a Kingston motel late at night to rest on their way home to Montreal from a vacation in Niagara Falls.

Shafia told authorities his eldest daughter Zainab must have taken the car without his permission and crashed it into the canal, but an investigation would later reveal he told witnesses he planned to kill her.

Prosecutors said that, according to mobile phone records, Hamed appeared to scope out the Kingston area days before the family arrived.

They also say he researched bodies of water in the Montreal, Ottawa and Kingston areas in the days leading up to the deaths.

The youngest was killed for wearing revealing attire, despite having warned school officials and police of abuse in the home, prosecutor Laurie Lacelle told the court.

The trial, which started late last month, was expected to last up to three months, with dozens of witnesses scheduled to be called.
